Last Round, New Emotions

     After the Cavalry Battle ended and the talk with Shoto, the remaining 16 people had to go head-to-head with whoever they're up against. Izuku went up first against Hitoshi Shinso from the General Studies course. Wendy got a good seat to look at the fight and felt confident for him.
Chelia was sitting next to her to see her reactions of the fights.

Wendy: "This is it; Looks like Izuku's up first."

Chelia: "Yeah; Hey, what do you think about the purple-haired guy against Izuku?"

Wendy: "Shinso? I don't really know."

Chelia: "Well, from my perspective, I think he's actually kinda cute."

Wendy: "You realize that's the same guy who challenged us and our Classmates, right?"

Chelia: "I know that, but there's something about him that feels like he's not all bad."

Wendy: "Really?"

Chelia: "It's just my way of thinking, at least."

     Wendy figured that Chelia was right about a few things from Hitoshi and couldn't help but think about him.

Wendy: "(There's something different about this guy that's going up against Izuku. I know he acts cold like Katsuki, but he definitely doesn't seem to be exactly the same as him. What could possibly be going on with him?)"

     Soon, it was time to start the first match of the last round in the tournament. Izuku and Hitoshi both stepped up to the arena, and got ready to fight. Before they could, Hitoshi wanted to say something towards Izuku.

Hitoshi: "So, you can just give up, huh? In a way, this is a test of how strong your spirit is. If you know what you want your future to hold for you, you can't worry about what other people think. That monkey was going on about his pride earlier, but I just think he's an idiot for throwing away his chance like that."

     That insult triggered Izuku as he ran towards Hitoshi in a fit of rage.

Izuku: "Don't you talk about Ojiro that way, you hear me!?"

     After that outburst, Izuku suddenly stopped and froze. Hitoshi was grinning that his Quirk was activated.

Hitoshi: "That's it; I win."

     When the announcement heard that Hitoshi's Quirk is Brainwashing, Wendy and Chelia saw that Izuku's eyes looked completely blank.

Chelia: "Wendy, did you see that!?"

Wendy: "Yeah, Izuku got brainwashed! He must've been provoked somehow! Not only that, but I'm sensing a powerful energy coming from Shinso when he activated his Quirk!"

     While everyone was shocked by what happened, Hitoshi just glanced at Izuku for a moment.

Hitoshi: "(So, here we are; You're lucky to have been so blessed, Izuku Midorya.)"

     Eventually, he gave him a command that would achieve him victory.

Hitoshi: "Now, turn around and walk out of bounds like a good little Hero."

     Izuku then started walking over to the edge of the arena while being hypnotized by Hitoshi. Wendy, Chelia, Ochaco and Tenya saw this happening and got worried.

Chelia: "What the hell!? Izuku's going out of bounds!"

Ochaco: "Oh no, Deku, what are you doing!?"

Tenya: "He can't walk out of the arena! He'll lose the match if he does!"

Wendy: "Izuku, you've gotta wake up!"
