Discovering New Emotions

     After she was comforted by Hitoshi this morning, Wendy grabbed her lunch and met up with him on the rooftop.

Wendy: "Hey, Shinso!"

Hitoshi: "Marvell, I thought for sure you forgot about me."

Wendy: "No way; Ready to eat?"

Hitoshi: "Yeah."

     They both then sat down and enjoyed their lunch together. Eventually, Wendy asked Hitoshi something that's been on her mind.

Wendy: "Hey, Shinso?"

Hitoshi: "Hmm?"

Wendy: "Do you remember last week when you declared war on me and my Classmates before the 'Sports Festival'?"

     Hitoshi stops eating for a few seconds, remembers his moment of challenging the class and soon feels guilty about it.

Hitoshi: "Yeah; I was kind of an Asshole to you guys back then, and I definitely regret it. What about it, Marvell?"

Wendy: "Well, something had me curious for awhile. Is there any other way you could get in the Hero course aside from the 'Sports Festival'?"

Hitoshi: "I think so; After the tournament ended, Mr. Aizawa came over to me and offered to train me so that I can be a part of the Hero course next year."

Wendy: "Really!? That's amazing! Knowing Mr. Aizawa, I'll bet he sees potential in you! Who knows? Maybe everyone else might feel the same."

Hitoshi: "I don't know about that."

Wendy: "Huh? What do you mean?"

Hitoshi: "My Quirk isn't made for combat; I can either hypnotize people when they answer my question, or activate it at will."

Wendy: "Come on, Shinso, it's not all bad; Besides, you can still be a Pro with that Quirk. You just need some combat training, and people will soon see you as a Hero."

     Hitoshi blushed a little bit, looked down to avoid eye contact and muttered.

Hitoshi: "I doubt it; I'm always targeted as a Villain because of this power."

     Wendy heard what he said and pouted. Soon enough, she cupped his face and looked directly at him with confidence.

Wendy: "Quit acting ridiculous; I just said that your power's amazing to have, didn't I? It's like I said before, whatever negative thoughts people put in your head don't matter. Instead, what matters is how you want a chance to help people with your Quirk, compassion and loyalty to everyone. I know that there will be a spot for you in the Hero course by next year; Just you wait."

     A gentle wind then started blowing through their hair. Hitoshi was so amazed by how motivating she is towards him that he was completely at a loss for words. He blushed softly after everything Wendy said, and smiled while rubbing his neck.

Hitoshi: "I didn't think you could actually hear me, but thanks."

Wendy: "Well, lucky for you, I have extremely sensitive hearing. Not only that, but I can also smell and see my enemies from miles away. It's all basically part of my Ma-. Quirk! Quirk! I mean Quirk!"

     Hitoshi was confused by how Wendy almost said Magic and let it slide for now.

Hitoshi: "Hehe, Got it; Now I know to be careful with what I say whenever you're around. Can't risk having you know all of my secrets now, can I?"

     Both laughed for a minute after that punt Hitoshi made and they stared at each other for a moment.

Wendy: "Hey, before the School day ends, do you wanna exchange phone numbers?"

Hitoshi: "Yeah, that's alright; Why all of a sudden though?"

Wendy: "Well, I'm about to be very busy for the next week with my internship with the Space Hero: Thirteen. So, I probably won't be able to answer calls right away."

Hitoshi: "Hmm; Fair point."

Wendy: "Also, my best friend, Chelia, was hoping for a chance of getting to know you too sometime. I can also give you her phone number if you want."

Hitoshi: "Yeah, alright; She's the magenta-haired girl who made the black feather-like winds, right? Chelia Blendy?"

Wendy: "That's her; Also, she and I are casual types. So, no need for informatics. Instead, just call the both of us by our first names."

Hitoshi: "Wendy and Chelia; Alright then. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Since we're on the same thing, feel free to call me Hitoshi."

     Time flew by and lunch was finally done. Soon, Hitoshi walked with Wendy back to her classroom and he would go back to his. Before he could, she turned quickly to hug him, and made him almost blush red.

Wendy: "Thanks for today, Hitoshi; It really helped me out. Text me about your training sometime during the week and tell me all about it, okay?"

Hitoshi: "Yeah; Cool."

     Wendy then entered her classroom and Hitoshi started walking over to his until he stopped for a moment. After Hitoshi stopped, he held his chest close to where his heart was, covered his mouth to hide his smile, and got excited.

Hitoshi: "(Holy Crap! I can't believe she actually hugged me! My God! I've never had this emotion with anyone before! It's all new to me!)"

     Hitoshi continued on to his class with a smile until it slowly faded after coming face-to-face with Katsuki. Once Hitoshi saw him, he noticed that Katsuki was completely full of rage.

Hitoshi: "(Oh great; It's Bakugo. What the hell does he want? Just ignore him for now, Hitoshi. Head straight to class and don't pick a fight with this guy.)"

     He then tried to get away by walking around him, but was stopped when Katsuki gripped his shoulder hard forcing him to not move any further.

Katsuki: "What the hell do you think you're doing with Wendy?"

     Hitoshi didn't want to start a conflict; So, he slapped Katsuki's hand off and responded with displeasure.

Hitoshi: "Unlike a certain Asshole who broke an innocent girl's heart, I'm giving Wendy the proper care that she needs. I'll show you that she deserves better than someone like you."

Katsuki: "Do you really think I'm gonna let you get away with it? Think again, Fuzzy; I'm taking her back."

Hitoshi: "You really don't get it; You had your chance, Bakugo, and you blew it. After the tournament, you pushed her away like she's nothing. She did everything she could to start out as good friends with you. But, like always, you push people away and make them your personal punching bags of mental problems. Face it, I'm gonna be the guy Wendy needs now, and there's nothing you can do to change her mind."

     After the talk, Hitoshi took his leave to his class, and left Katsuki alone standing and thinking about everything that happened because of him.

Katsuki: "(What the hell's going on with me!? I already told her that I wanted nothing to do with her anymore, and she goes off to a different guy instead! I thought she was already close with Deku, but she only saw him as a good friend!)"

     Suddenly, he also remembers the time he made Wendy cry and pushed her away. That terrible thought had him in tears as well.

Katsuki: "(Damnit! What have I done!? Why did I even say all of that to her!? This is all my fault! I never meant any of that! I was just frustrated and upset! The next chance I get, I've gotta be alone with her long enough to apologize! I just hope she'll be able to forgive me after everything today!)"

     After Katsuki had his thoughts sorted out, he made his way back to class and planned a way to make things right with Wendy.
