Personality: Quiet and reserved, his known to be appear mostly submissive, patient and compliant to try and ensure he doesn't provoke anyone around him or annoy anyone, he just wants everyome around him to be happy. Being a demon trying to simply live a "normal life" and appear "Normal" he disguises himself as a human and tries his best to understand all the behaviours of the humans and just everything around him in general. He doesn't want to spend his life causing the suffering of others and just wants to live his life to the fullest and satisfy his hungry curiousity and thrill of adventure. Mimd you, he isn't submissive at all he just prefers to act that way because he just simply doesn't want to hurt, upset or anger anyone. He just wants to get along with everyone and be accepted for who he is deep down but he is quite insecure, anxious and a little depressed. He especially is uncomfortable about his own sexuality and tends to hide it away from others as most people in his life have looked down upon others who have that sexuality. His adopted family were a religious bunch of humans and his aunt named June who he does care for has been trying to groom him into going after girls, organising dates for him which he has turned down every single chance he got, though keeping a sort of friendship with all the girls he talks to, he just doesn't know how to break it to his aunt that he just doesn't like females. Backstory: He was born with 6 other demons under a powerful demon family who thrived off of the suffering of others and also the souls of the living. 1 child however was different, he was a pacifist, he hated the sight and smell of death and hated hearing the cries of others. Due to this differing trait he had unlike the rest of his family he was hated and constantly scolded for being such p***y as one of his brothers called him. He eventually ran away casting himself down to earth in a human form as a young boy. Alone, without a single soul to assist him for a while, he didn't know how he was supposed to live life, however a certain Aunt June as he called her took him in, providing him with shelter and food acted as a mother figure to the otherwise lonely demon. However he wasn't alone, as she had other children, or his cousins as he calls them who were both boys, one an older male in their teens and the other a young boy, they were both rotten to him and didn't cobsider the boy to be any but a sinful, disgusting monster. Despite his attempts to get along they bullied, used and abused him and one particular day one of them found out about him being a demon. While the rest of the Heinwicks were disgusted and horrified by such news wanting to kill and banish him immediately Aunt june thought other, he was still her child after all and Being the selfless little creature Garrick was he would always try his best to make her proud and happy. So she protected him. With this the boys were not happy and went ahead to try and search for more dirt to put on him, eventually finding out about the others gay thoughts and attraction towards other males through a journal. They told the other family members who weren't June and simply confronted Garrick about it. "These thoughts of yours are sinful! Your actions can only be forgiven if you carve the word L**t and S**t into your arm so the lord knows you acknowledge you terrible disgusting behaviour and admit what you are!" They lied. He hesitated but was pinned against the sink. Shaking innfear they weren't going to leave until he did so just to try and gain their respect and make them happy. He carved both those words onto his arms with a knife. On that particular night he cried and cried from the pain he endured both mental and physical and wanted for a long while to just not exist.Aunt June came into comfort him about it all finding out about his thoughts but she wasn't angry...no she was happy he finally found something that made him happy. She however couldn't keep him around but she stated that the boys had recieved a big scolding from her and that he was always welcome in her home. He was then given a key to a house to run away to and finally live his life free however he wants to. But the trauma remains. His siblings did many unthinkable things to him thag day he just couldn't get over, and whenever he hurt inside, he would carve those words into his arms again to try and make himself feel better. Thats where he is now.
