We walked into class and saw our teacher. Miss Evans. We sat in our chairs and waited for our first lesson.
Miss Evans gave us our introduction. Our first lesson was maths. My favourite subject! Miss Evans wrote a complicated sum on the board.
I instantly threw up my hand. "Yes Jessica," asked Miss Evans. "2,398," I replied, "that's the answer." Miss Evans looked confused. She picked up a calculator and entered the sum. A shocked look came across her face. "You're right," she said astounded.
The bell rang and we headed off to recess.
