Katie and I went outside to sit and eat our food. I looked up and there he was. It was the new kid. He walked towards us. I couldn't believe that this was happening. "Hey Jess," he asked. "Hey um," I started. I didn't know his name. "It's Jake," he replied. Thank god I knew his name. His name was Jake.
Jake, Katie and I sat all recess just talking. I could tell Katie had a massive crush on him. I couldn't. I'm broken, there is no way I could do it again. Even if he was everything that I ever dreamed of and more!
The bell sounded for lesson block 2. "Catch you at lunch?" Jake asked. "Defs!" Katie said jumping in before I could give an answer. We all split and headed off to our classes.
