The note read,
Dear Jessica,
I got an urgent business call. I wanted to say goodbye but I didn't want to ruin your duet of Do you wanna build a snowman. I have left $200 in an envelope for you and $200 for your brother. I will only be gone for 2 weeks so you should be ok. Don't forget school starts this Monday and that I love you.

"Oh," I said disappointed and confused to Katie. She had been reading the note over my shoulder so she knew what had been happening. "Just think we have a new kid coming on Monday he's in the class next door. My sister went to school with him and told me he was hot and that he was going to be taking photography with us!" Katie said trying to cheer me up. "Oh yes!" I said excited. I had never had a boyfriend so this seemed like a chance. A slim one but still a chance!
We went back downstairs and decided we would call up Josh and Liam (they were our guy best friends). "Hey Jess," I heard a familiar voice say. It was Josh. "Hey, I said to him, "Do you and Liam wanna meet at Starbucks with Katie and I?" "Sure!" I heard an excited voice say "See you in 10!"
