Chapter 6: Being Mischievous

Coral's POV

After the whole Kayla and Glade thing Glade apologized and was forgiven. We were glad because now it was dinner. All of us went down to eat. Well most of us. Kayla didn't come down for some strange reason. It might be because she doesn't like having the same thing everyday. I don't like having seaweed salad everyday,but I'm hungry so I eat it anyway. After dinner Marisabelle and I went to our brothers room. Around 11:00 we decided to have some fun. My brother Gull had the most stupidest idea ever.

"Why don't we pull a prank on Kayla." Gull said

"Are you crazy. Even if we did try to do one she would already know it's coming and prank us before we can prank her." Caspian said

"Well I still say we should do it." Gull exclaimed

"What kind of prank would we do?" I asked

"How about a prank that would wake her up." Gull suggested

"Ok" we all replied.

We decided to take a trumpet and an alarm clock do this prank. The alarm clock won't stop beeping until you press the button and it gets louder and louder. The trumpet is a back up. We would just blow into the trumpet.

We swam down the hall to the guest room. We opened the door every so slightly. We saw Kayla sleeping so peacefully. I wonder how she sleeps so peaceful when she is always fighting. It was a shame we had to wake her up. We swam close to the bed. Then all of a suddenly a pillow hit me in the face. I think it hit my brothers and Marisabelle because their hair was flying all over the place.

"You seriously thought you could play a prank on me. "

I looked over to see that the person in the bed wasn't Kayla it was just a dummy. Where is she. I thought.

Look up. Kayla said in my mind. I looked up and of coarse saw her on the ceiling. How she got there and how she is staying there I don't know and I really don't care.

"That's better. "Kayla says while letting go of the ceiling and landing on the floor. "Seriously. You guys thought you could prank me. If you didn't know I heard your whole plan. You guys talk really loud."

We don't actually talk that loud it's just that Jayla has super hearing and she can hear people from a great distance. "Well I'm leaving." Glade announced. "Anyone want to join me. " He got a bunch of "no"s in reply.

I Thought now was a good question I always wanted ask Kayla. "Why do you and Glade never get along?" I asked

"I don't know. He just doesn't like me. It's not like he is the only one. Lots of people don't like me. I don't remember every reason why someone doesn't like me. Most people don't like me because of who I am." she replies.

"Ok. I will ask Glade his answer. I bet he has a reason."

"I bet not." Gull says.

"Why do you think that."

"He is my identical twin we both think alike. For this I don't think he has a reason."

"Okay, but I will still ask him. "

"What do you guys want to do know." Cascade asked.

"Let's play a game." Marisabelle suggested.

"What game. "Cascade asks

"20 questions so I can know more about you guys since I don't know that much. " Marisabelle said.

"Ok" I replied. "Kayla why don't you go first."

"Ok"

"The questions are:name, favorite color, age, favorite sport, favorite place, favorite game,tail color/s, grade, favorite sports team of your favorite sport, job/s, colony you live in. I can only think of these so I guess it will be 12 questions." I said.

"Well I'm Kayla, my favorite color is hot pink, I'm 13, favorite sport is basketball, ny favorite place is my room, my favorite game is Minecraft, I have a bunk and blue tail,I'm in 7th grade, favorite team are the New York Knicks, I own my own store,I live"

"You have other jobs." I explained

"So"

"I said job/jobs."

"Fine. I work for the government if my colony,and I live in the colony of Mermaida. "

"Ok I will go "Gull announced.

The rest of the night really went like that. We played lots of games. It was very fun. I think everyone enjoyed it even Kayla.
