We're Back And Things Have Changed

Months have passed since we have stayed in our safety house. The waters aren't completely safe yet but my parents have agreed that we should go back and fix anything that needs to be fixing in our colony or the Pacific Ocean. Ever since the Measly family decided to raise havoc on the ocean no one was safe. My family decided that is was best that we would stay in our safety house, so none of us get hurt. That doesn't mean our people wouldn't get hurt and sadly die. We have failed our part as royalty by sacrificing ourselves for he safety of the people. I feel horrible and I bet everyone except Marisabelle does to. Marisabelle doesn't feel bad because she still doesn't understand how to be a princess. It's really hard to teach her when we aren't at the castle.

      Now we are standing right where the ocean touches the sand. We packed all of our stuff and we are heading back into the ocean. "Are you guys ready? " my dad asks

"Yeah" we all replied. Then we all ran into the water and dived. No one would be able to see us since this is a private beach. I felt the water surround me when I dived down. I had really missed that feeling and transformed into a mermaid. It felt nice to feel my tail again. Its also felt nice seeing it in salt water. We swam through the portal to our colony and when we go there. It wasn't as bad as I expected. Yes there were a few houses that need repairs but overall everything looked good. We started swimming back to the castle. Once I was alone in my room. I started thinking how could we be able to get away with hardly any damage. They must've went to the Atlantic. I gasped and swam out of my room to my friend Aqua's house. I swam up to the second floor window to peer inside her room. I found her sitting on her bed.

       "Hey Aqua can I come in?"

      Aqua looked up and smiled widely. "Your back! I didn't know when you were coming back and I was really worried. "

     "Why were you worried?"

      "Didn't you hear that?"

"No hear what?"

"So I don't know how someone found out about this but they did. It is about Kayla. She has been keeping this really big secret. "

"We all kind of guest that. " I said in a nonchalant voice.

"No I mean big secret which explains everything about her. "

"What is it? Just tell me!"

"She's a fairy and a vampire. "

"What!"

I sat in my room thinking about what Aqua told me. She's a fairy and a vampire. How is that even possible? I thought. It's worst to be a fairy than a vampire down here because failures and mermaids don't get along well. Mermaids and vampires don't really interact much, so they aren't a problem. I wonder how did they find out. It's not like Kayla to reveal secrets. She barely talks to people so why would she talk to the news. She hates them! It must suck to be her right now.

Kayla's POV
It sucks to be me right now. Currently I'm in my room. A normal merperson wouldn't be able to see five feet in front of them because of how dark my room is right now. I'm doing nothing but bouncing a ball in my wall and catching it.  Ever since someone found out who I was. The annoying news people won't stop bombarding me with questions even though they know that I will not answer so they should just back off! That's why my room is so dark. I had to cover my glass roof that lets in a lot of light, so they wouldn't keep taking pictures and I also had to close the window that I used to swim into to get into my room since I was to lazy to swim through the door.

I don't know how I cod be so foolish and letting someone find out because now nothing is getting better. I still have to fight the strongest of the Measly brothers and I still can't remember his name. I guess I will just wait until he attacks me since I'm to lazy to find them.

There has been two days without them here. The damage here isn't horrible since it is repairable, but it's not better than what they had at the Pacific. They got a lucky break with only minor damage. The Atlantic Ocean has a stronger army than the Pacific because here in the Atlantic we use more strategy unlike the Pacific who uses brute force. Me specifically uses both, but that's what always made everyone wonder. Why I have such strange powers, why am I so strong, why I am unstoppable.

     These things is what I have been keeping a secret for a while because I knew if someone found out they would tell everyone one and my world would be ruined. Now that's what my world is, ruined.

      It's not like it hasn't been ruined before, but I don't really want to deal with this. There is no one for me to talk to because they don't understand me or they don't care to. I try hard, but it doesn't work out. If only they knew. If only they knew. I sighed.

      Another bad thing about being a fairy is that right know the government is deciding if I should live or die. I wish the fairy and mer world could get along because this wouldn't be my fate. They are also deciding that if I live should I still be a princess because I'm a "danger" to the people. If I was such a danger I could've attacked the merpeople down here a long time ago to surprise them, but I didn't no matter what they have done to me.  I try hard not to use my powers on them, but they make it very challenging, so that why I make clothes. It takes my kind off of all the crappy things in my life. It like an escape. It's strange though. People will buy my clothes and I make millions of it, but they still don't like me. They even compliment me on my style of taste! But that's online, but when it comes when they are face to face to me they will only criticize me on my actions. This is the downfall about living in the richest colony. Everyone is so snobby and they unfortunately they don't have jobs that they can be snobby in.

      I heard my door swing open. "Kayla can you please turn on the lights. "My mer mom asks. I say mer mom because I am part human and I have a human one well I should say had one. My biological parents don't love me so they tried setting my house on fire so I would die, but unfortunately for them I don't get affected by fire and survived. My family doesn't know I'm alive because everyone thinks my body burned in the fire, so now I live at an orphanage. It's not that fun because I had to leave my friends and right now I'm have not found anything exciting. The thing about my mer mom is that she has had a horrible life. It's worse than whatever can happen to me, but that's another story.

     " I don't have any lights. "

    "Well it's about time you get some and you should also decorate your room. You only have one tiny piece if furniture and that's just a small little cushion bench thing you sit on. "

"Fine. I do it later. "

She sighed. "In your world that means never. Well I came here to tell you that lots of people have been calling in telling me that you haven't delivered their orders. Step to it or you are going to deal with a lot of angry customers. "With that she swam away. I sighed and started on those orders. My mom is my manager, so she is always the one who tells me when an order is ready. It was her idea to do this. I'm glad I listened. Well it's time to start those orders.

I'm back. I finally thought of an idea and now this story shall Finnish updates might be slow, but I'll try my hardest.
