  after their impromptu break due to the aftermath of crackstone, the nevermore students had finally returned to the school after a month long break.

  wednesday was immediately met with enid as she opened the door to their shared dorm, shortly after being tackled in a hug of which wednesday very awkwardly reciprocated.

  "aw look tish! our little death trap has finally made some friends!!!" gomez exclaimed, looking back at where his wife was stood with the largest grin on his face.

  morticia looked between the two girls, then back towards her husband, "she seems like more than a friend." she uttered.

  "mother, father, you've met enid already."

  "howdy!" enid smiled, sending a cute wave their way.

  "hi enid!" pugsley shouts.

  "enid, this is pugsley and pubert, my brothers." wednesday introduces, not before glaring at the boys.

  "hi guys!!" enid greets cheerfully, extending her hand out to them.

  "you're cool, i like you." pugsley declares.

  enid smiles at him, then looks towards the ravenette who has seemingly teleported to her side of the room and is beginning to unpack with the help of lurch.

  she walks over to the goth girl, "can i help?"

  the shorter girl peers up at her, "get them out of here."

  "but i like your family!!" the blonde whines, earning a glare from the addams girl.

  "they've overstayed their welcome." wednesday replies, raising her tone so it's loud enough for her family to hear.

  pugsley whines before taking pubert's hand and exiting the room, followed by morticia after she blows a kiss towards wednesday. gomez makes an attempt to hug his eldest kid, which ultimately fails. accepting his defeat, he walks out like the rest of his family.

  once the doors shut, enid runs up behind wednesday and wraps her arms around the older girl's waist, "is this too much?"

  the lycan doesn't recieve an answer in response, so she decides that was wednesday's way of telling her she's okay with the contact.

  "i missed you." enid sighs, burying her head into the girl's hair as she organizes stuff on her desk.

  it takes wednesday a solid minute before she's able to articulate a response, "the lack of your presence was greatly evident."

  enid squeals before letting the girl go and throwing herself on the bed next to her, "i think your mom caught us, she must have a great gaydar."

  "what is a gaydar?" wednesday questions, furrowing her brows at the use of a word she's never heard before.

  "basically it's when someone's able to tell when a person is gay or not, or in the case i guess it would be that we're dating." the blonde explains, grabbing the blanket at the bottom of wednesday's bed and covering herself with it.

  "so you believe my mother knows i've courted you?" the ravenette questions, looking towards the girl who's laid on her bed.

  "indubitably. i heard her say something to your dad about it." the blonde makes a move to point towards her ears.

  "i see."

  "is that okay?"

  "i suppose so." she affirms.

  enid smiles at her in response and watches as wednesday busies herself by putting everything away,  "what'd you do over break?"

  "investigate murders, torture my brothers, there is not much to do of interest in new jersey." she sighs disappointedly.

  "oh yeah all the casual activities to participate in."

  "precisely. how was san francisco?"

  enid flops onto her back sighing dramatically, "dreadful. my mom wouldn't shut up about me finally turning and kept trying to get me to turn for her because she couldn't believe i'd actually done it, especially on a blood moon. apparently turning on a blood moon for the firs time is a big thing in werewolf world, im not sure why though? anyways! she wouldn't believe me until i literally turned on the full moon, then she was like sad or something i dont know?? she somehow found a way to be disappointed in me even after i finally turned like she's wanted me to my entire life. then it was just back to her favoring my brothers and pretending i don't exist. although, yoko and divina did come to visit for a couple days, but of course, my mom wouldn't let divina in because she doesn't trust sirens so we kept having to sneak her into the attic with us it was all really unnecessarily complicated."

  sometime during enid's rant, wednesday had finished putting everything away and went and sat down by the blonde, listening to every word she said.

  "would you like me to disembowel her?"

  enid sighs again, "as much as i'd love that she's my mother so i can't let you do that."

  "why not?" wednesday inquires, genuinely confused.

   "cause she's my mom wedns." the blonde replies, giving her a meek smile and kissing her cheek before going to rest her head on the other girl's shoulder, "i appreciate the thought though, i just need to rant sometimes."

  wednesday begrudgingly nods, "alert me if you change your mind."

  the blonde chuckles and grabs wednesday's hand, bringing it to her mouth and kissing it. "will do." she glances at the time, "we should probably hit the hay though. it's getting pretty late."

  wednesday agrees and heads towards her closet to change into her pajamas, emerging in black sweatpants and a striped shirt, she's greeted by enid already laying back in her bed.

  "you can't sleep in your own bed?" the shorter girl questions half annoyedly.

  "nope! we're dating now which means you'll have to endure sharing a bed with me."

  wednesday sighs, slipping into bed beside the colorful girl, "just stay on your side of the bed."

  "yes boss!" enid replies, putting her hand to her forehead in salute before cozying into the pillow beside the addams.

  the next moring wednesday's awoken to a pair of eyes staring at her, "what, enid?"

  "goodmorning!! how'd you sleep?"

  "horrendous."

  "i slept good too! i knew you wouldn't ask soooo.... anyways! what do you wanna do today?"

  wednesday turns her head to glare at the girl, "nothing, please exit the premises."

  enid rolls her eyes at the girl's antics, "i'll take that as a cuddle me please! okay!!" she exclaims, throwing herself onto the girl beside her, effectively tackling her.

  "enid!" wednesday grunts, shooting an aggravated look her way.

  "wednesday!!!" enid replies with a mischievous glint in her eyes and smirks at the girl, "i'm gonna kiss you now." she declares.

  "get off you insufferable beast!" wednesday protests, flingling her limbs around in 'effort' of trying to get the girl off of her.

  "you cannot tame me!! accept defeat!!" enid giggles, smothering the girl in kisses as she wraps her legs around the girl fighting her.

  the corners of wednesday mouth twitch up slightly, giving enid the closest to a smile she's ever seen.

  "you smiled!! you smiled!!" the blonde squeals, placing a kiss on wednesday mouth which the girl reciprocates 'unwillingly'.
