Emiko POV

Training with Pein would be interesting, I just hope I don't annoy him to death. Actually, yes. I want to annoy him to death. Why Tobi chose him to train me, was still a mystery. Hmm... Maybe I get to play Nancy Drew, solving mysteries. Nah....Her sense of fashion is horrible anyways.

"So you're good at ninjutsu, right?" I ask, trying to start a conversation. He looked at me with narrowed eyes.

"Yes, how did you know?" He replied.

"It's..Uh..." I stuttered. I couldn't exactly tell him it was because I looked it up on the Naruto Wikia cite, because I read it in Mayumi's Character Data book or because he's a part of a popular Anime show, that quite a lot of people watch!

Pein looked at me, curiously. Agh! Kami, this isn't good!

"I-It's... Complicated..?" Kuso! That sounded more like a question than an answer! I suck at coming up with lies! And my mind seriously doesn't work well under pressure. I could have said something like, "Oh I heard someone say it," Or, "Just a lucky guess!". But no! I had to say; "It's complicated.". Bravo Emiko, just bravo, you know what?! Best liar award goes to you, Emiko!

"Complicated?" Pein repeated, not really believing me, but then again who could blame him, I didn't exactly sound convincing.

"It's.. just hard to explain," I said quickly. "Anyways! Shouldn't we start the training?!"

"Well someones eager." He muttered.

"Yosha! So what do we start with?" I ask excitedly skipping in front of Pein.

He just shook his head, probably not impressed with my childish behaviour.

"We will start by seeing what you're good at."

"Sure! Just tell me what to d-" I stopped mid-sentence when I realised where we were.

"Wow! So this is where the Akatsuki trains!" I exclaimed looking around. It was beautiful, the sun was just peaking over the hills in the west as it was about to set. A deep and green forest surrounded us and nearby river was clear and sparkled in the sunlight. It was actually quite similar to the third training ground in Konoha, not that I had actually been there, but from what I had seen on TV. Except for the fact that this looked so much cooler!

"Very impressive..." I said thinking out loud, my mouth gaping.

"Indeed it is." Pein said, after seeing my reaction.

"So what do we start with?!" I asked excitedly and turned to face him. He thought for a moment before answering.

"Well, we can start with some basic chakra training."

**Time Skip**

"Okay, from what I've seen, you seem to have talent with in Taijutsu, maybe some ninjutsu too." Pein said looking down at me, due to the fact that I was lying on the ground, he would anyways have been taller than me.

"Yes!" I exclaimed, however I was to tired to get up. After I had done the chakra training, which included focusing chakra and trying to walk up trees, Pein had said that I should rest for the rest of the day. Right now I kind of regret skipping PE classes in school, because if I hadn't I probably wouldn't have been so exhausted. Actually, scratch that, I still hate PE...

"Say, have you done Taijutsu before?" He asked me.

"Well, sort of... Where I'm from we have something called Martial Arts, which is basically a mix of different styles of offence and defence moves, like Taekwondo, T'ai chi ch'uan and basic Karate." I finished with a smile.
