Hidan's POV
I sighed aggressively, as I straightened up to listen to Pein.
Apparently, I wasn't allowed to doze off while he was talking."Whatever Pein, don't nag. Pfft."
Half the room rolled their eyes and I crossed my arms. Emiko already pissed me off, and now we have to meet up this late?
"I bought you all here to review the girls work today, even though some of you aren't their tutors, it is beneficial if everybody knows how they are doing."
Ugh! An entire fucking meeting about those bitches?
For the love of Jashin.
"First, I shall report about the Emiko girl. She is, as expected slightly.. Agitating. However, her first training session with me was rather impressive, and she shows potential in Tai-jutsu. Now, Itachi, please report to me."At that moment, a sleepy voice whispered behind me,
"Hidan-sama, do you know where I can find food?"
I jumped about ten feet into the air, then looked behind me.
A small redhead was standing behind me in baggy clothing, holding a teddy bear.
"You bitch! HOW DARE YOU SCARE ME LIKE THAT YOU FUCKING HOE!"Konan's POV
The aura in the room went dark, real fast.
Hidan and his cussing..
Seiko suddenly threw a kunai into the table, her eyes black with red spots.
"Next time, I will hit your heart. Show some respect, yeah? Now. WHERE IS THE KITCHEN?"
Hidan told her how to get to the kitchen in his usual drawl, but seemed uneasy."Thank you. Oh and, good night O'nii-san!"
She hugged Itachi, then left, all cheery.
Uh.. She's a bit odd."What just happened.. I looked in her eyes then I saw shit.. Bad shit.."
Itachi spoke up, "She is doing well, trying hard to complete the tasks I set her. In this one day, she has learnt how to activate and deactivate her sharingan as well as some basic battle skills to keep her alive until someone else arrives in case of any attacks on the base which could happen at any point."
The room went silent.
"What is the matter?"
They looked at Itachi in shock.
He had just been hugged by a little girl without protest and said more than just a couple of words strung together.."Itachi, what is this bond you share with the girl?"
"Her name. Is Hito- Seiko." Itachi said, calmly, but with an underlying threatening tone, "I dislike the way you refer to her as 'girl'." He left it at that, and no one questioned him further, though the atmosphere in the room was dense.
I cleared my throat purposefully, "Shiori is a good student. Already she shows a high degree of aptitude within chakra control, she managed to walk up a tree, may I add rather gracefully, on her second attempt, and can throw her senbon needles with enough power, though her precision must improve a lot."
"Yes, she seems to have the correct mindset towards learning, and tries hard, thinking with a clear head. I think she will become a great medical ninja," Sasori added, and I nodded in agreement.
"Good, good. She seems the most.. Normal of the four of them. What about that girl, Mayumi, Kisame?"
Kisame chuckled deeply, "I think she could crush the other three like flies,"
The room fell silent. I glared at Kisame, did he not think Shiori showed potential too? I stopped glaring immediately after noticing that I was mirroring the other tutors' expressions. Even Pein looked strained. When did we all grow this pride over our students.
"Her chakra levels are high. Very high, in fact, I think her chakra levels could rival some of the people sitting in this very room. Matched with her determination to outshine all others, I'd say she'll be a great asset to the Akatsuki in say, a year."
I cleared my throat again, "That is good news, Kisame, but I think you may be a bit biased to your student. We all want those we tutor to turn out to be the strongest."
"Think what you want," He grinned shark-ily at me.
"Anyway. All the girls seem to show potential, I suppose Toby teleported them here for a reason. They say that they wish to stay here, as a part of the Akatsuki, and I believe we can benefit from that. However, I also think they would make excellent spies. Four young and brilliant girls, what village wouldn't want to keep them. I think that when the time comes, they'll be able to provide us with the information we need, but first we must keep on training them."
