It was day four of Tommy being stuck in the prison. Four long, endless days. Tommy gave up on hope. He no longer hoped that Sam would come rescue him, he no longer hoped that the lava would magically stop falling and let him be free. He no longer hoped for anything. He wanted to leave, yes, but he didn't care. He didn't hope that it would be now, he found it rather pathetic to keep hoping for someone to come help him. He was far too exhausted to care anyways.

Tommy was staring at the lava. The lava that seemed so welcoming and warm. It was oddly quiet throughout the day. The only sounds being breathing, lava, and the chest opening and closing. He sighed out of boredom and exhaustion.

"Tommyinnit, I know what it is you desire~" taunted the voice of the Crimson Egg.

"Just shut the hell up," Tommy mumbled. He didn't want to deal with this now. Not now and not ever.

"You want to feel safe again. To feel the warmth that comes from comfort and the bliss that comes from happiness. You don't want to live your life in constant fear and anxiety, you just want peace, you want others to be with you to fill the void of loneliness. Is that right, Tommy?"

"I-" Tommy was shocked. How could a stupid egg know all that? It didn't matter, no stupid Egg could give him that anyways. And he most definitely wouldn't listen to an Egg, either. No one could get rid of the chaos that lurked in the SMP. No one could make anyone truly happy and free. Everyone would always be living in some sort of anxiety and loneliness.

"I can give you what you desire, just trust me, Tommy~" The Egg's voice was almost an eerily soothing tone. It sounded comforting, caring.

"No, I'm not gonna fucking trust you, stupid fuck," Tommy snarled back at the Egg. He wouldn't trust someone, or something that easily, right?

"I wouldn't, stupid. Just stupid. What I want is impossible to get. I shouldn't trust a stupid Egg, right? It can't grant my desires. It just can't, it seems impossible but then again so many things that were deemed impossible were found out to be possible... What if the Egg isn't lying? Maybe it can truly do what it says it can?" Tommy thought. His train of thoughts was interrupted by Dream.

"Tommy? Who are you talking to?" Dream asked. Tommy perked up with shock, startled from the sudden question. Tommy looked over at Dream.

"I- um, just the Egg. It's being weird."

"Okay, well, just don't listen to it."

Tommy scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Wow, acting like he cares, so 'amazing'," Tommy thought as he looked away from Dream and back at the lava.

"Trust me, Tommy, I can give you what you want, I can grant your strongest desire~" continued the Egg.

"Just—quiet," Tommy said, annoyed, as he covered his ears. He looked down at his brown shoes and noticed something small. It was small but still noticeable. A tiny red vine.

"What the fuck, get off, get off!" Tommy yelled as he quickly got up and kicked the vine off his shoe.

"What the hell are you doing, Tommy?" Dream asked as he looked over at the teen.

"The fucking vine, it was on my shoe!" Tommy shot back. He didn't look at Dream though, he continued looking at the single red vine that was now on the ground. He looked disgusted and uncomfortable, but yet there was this feeling inside him. This feeling that seemed to enjoy the vines. The silky soft, crimson red vines.

"Oh, well, just stay away from it."

"Fucking been trying to, you green bitch, not my fault they're growing all over here!" Tommy looked over at Dream.
