The next day, Klaus is in the study, carving out a wooden knight for his little baby niece, Nikole.
There are two more wooden knights on the coffee table. One for Luna and one for Trinity.
Glimpses of Christy dying goes through his mind.
"Klaus?" Christy said, grunting softly to herself and her nose bleeds from her right nose nostril.
Klaus puts his hand on her bleeding stomach stab wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
"Stay with me, Love. Stay with me." Klaus said, becoming teary-eyed, caressing Christy's cheek with his hand.
"I love you." Christy tells him, slowly stops grunting as she slowly loses unconscious as she slowly dies.
Composing himself, Klaus hears a whoosh of golden dust and looks at Christy.

"Hi." Christy greeted him.
"Hello." Klaus greeted her back with a small smile.
"Luna and Trinity are at the LaRue Safe-house with Nikole and Gia." Klaus said.
"I know." Christy replied, and slowly walks up to him. "You're still worried about it, aren't you?"
"I am." Klaus said, gently sets down his carving knife and the wooden knight on the coffee table.
"Klaus?" Christy said.
"Don't." Klaus said, getting up and slowly walks away, walking over to the curtains. "It's gonna happen whether I like it or not, Christy."
Christy uses her enhanced speed to get in front of him, which makes Klaus becomes bewildered.
"Enhanced speed." Christy said.
Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she gently cups his face with her hands.
"I love you, Klaus." Christy said.
"Why did you say as a goodbye?" Klaus asked her.
"I don't know." Christy said to him, becoming teary-eyed, not knowing why she said it herself. "I just wanted you to know."
