In front of a mushy movie that Alina had forced her boyfriend to watch, Zachariah ate his ice cream in silence on the brunette's bed, while she watched him. For someone who said they didn't like this kind of movie, he seemed rather interested, very interested even. "So, do you like it or nah?" The teenager's voice brought the curly out of his thoughts. "I hate it, but I like you," he said making his girlfriend blush. In a few months he had never said those words she had been waiting so long for him to say, he had never even thought about them. And yet he felt happy with Alina, very happy even. She brought him a certain peace he hadn't felt in a long time, even with Maxine. With her, he was always a roller coaster, he felt too insecure, he accompanied her to parties where the atmosphere quickly turned to disaster and she was a very flirty person. They had very few quiet moments, but these were the best. It was in those moments that Max was truly herself, the Maxine who Zachariah had fallen madly in love with. This funny girl, who loved teasing him, taking pictures of him, covering him with kisses. The one who talked non-stop about him to her parents, the one who hung pictures of them all over her room, the one who preferred to spend time with him instead of going to the team's after-game parties. He also loved the one who loved to party, the one who had such a bad temper with others, the one who flirted with the whole world. He just had a little trouble trusting her. "Hey Zach, are you listening?" The brunette's voice pulled the curly out of his thoughts. He smiled thinly at his girlfriend and softly grabbed her chin before kissing her.

What was just an innocent kiss turned into a makeout session during which the curly found himself on top of his brunette, the ice cream on top of the drawers near her bed. Alina's shy hands gripped Zach's t-shirt and his hands wandered through his girlfriend's hair. The curly sat up and took off his t-shirt before throwing it further into the room. The brunette couldn't stop her eyes from wandering over her boyfriend's body, she had seen him shirtless before but she had never taken the time to admire the mole on his chest, the birthmark near his navel, his finely drawn abs and especially the V-line lower on his body, or the scorpio tattoo near it. Zach smirked before pressing his lips to his girlfriend's again, who caressed the curly's muscular back. Her manicured fingernails couldn't help scraping the tanned skin beneath her fingers, carried away by the intensity and the tension. Unfortunately for both of them, these long minutes were interrupted by the curly's cell phone. "Fuck that..." Alina's eyes widened and she tried to put some distance between her and her boyfriend. "Zach, t-this could be important, ..." she said, causing him to sigh slightly and then straighten up, biting his lips. With a quick gesture, he picked up his phone and answered without even looking at the name of the caller. "Um?" A voice that he thought he would never hear it ringing in his ear again. "Hey Zach, it's Lewis" The curly couldn't help but frown, he was one of Maxine's friends, the only one he liked. Even though he was a drug addict who loved taking Max to all kinds of wacky parties.

"I'm calling because there's an emergency and I need you to come to the Garage immediately. Your girl is going batshit crazy. She's completely wasted and about to fight with someone. And believe me, he wouldn't mind destroying her pretty face " Alina frowned when she saw the confused expression on Zachariah's face change to a more serious one. "I'm on my way" Without even giving her a look, the curly got up from the brunette's bed, grabbed his shirt and put on his jacket and shoes, after hanging up. "Zach, what's going on?"

"Um, just an emergency, I need to go. See you tomorrow, huh? Sleep well, Ali," were his last words before exiting where he had entered, the window. He walked quickly to his car, then sighed loudly before speeding off. One of the many reasons he didn't like Maxine's parties was because they always ended badly. There were always fights, people passing out, or even the police. The Garage was where the weirdest parties went, there were always drug dealers, gang members, weird people and sometimes even pimps. And yet, it was where Maxine and Lewis loved to go at night. "Damn it, Max," Zach whispered under his breath as he saw the people leaning against the place. He had never gotten used to it and it probably never was going to happen.
