A compilation of loud music that was supposed to make the club dance echoed through the place. It was more for people to sit or go make out in the bathroom, or the corridors for the brave and hungry. Even the bartenders seemed to have more fun behind the counter, shaking their shakers and making cocktails.

Sitting on a table, a pretty young girl with dark hair was there, one leg above the other. Her long black boots with buckle straps decorated with metal plates shone and swayed as a sign of the teenager's boredom. She could see the many eyes falling on her legs, or on her tattoo of a chain surrounding her right thigh, but she didn't care. The only thing that interested her was the cherry lollipop she had in her mouth. "Hey, poppy," and his only friend in this place. The dark haired got down from her table and walked towards the voice that had just called out her nickname, swaying her hips and walking like a model, drawing attention to her behind hidden by a short black slit skirt. "Howdy, Lewis," she said, smirking. Said Lewis stroked his shaved, ginger head as he looked the teen up and down with a smile. " So you're back, huh?" The dark haired, still smirking, answered, looking around. "I was tired of Ohio so I came back. What, d'you miss me?" Lewis laughed and then took a sip of his probably strong alcoholic cocktail. "Obviously it's no fun here without ya. But I guess you came back for a specific reason, right?" The teenager took a sip from her friend's glass in turn, then replied, looking away. "Awn, you know me so well"

In front of her locker, Alina Morgan organized her affairs while discussing with her boyfriend. She held back a smile at Zachariah's nonsense. "I should probably get you my jersey for your birthday, right? That would be awesome, you'd be my personal cheerleader" Those words were what put a wide dimpled smile on the brunette's face.

"Zach!" The voice of a young man echoed in the hallway of Ridgeview High, startling many, before the young girls began to blush and giggle when they saw who it was. Oliver White, the third most popular player on the Sharks team and the second most loved boy in high school. His caramel skin, chocolate eyes, nostril and his million dollar smile could not leave marble, and yet this young man was still looking for his other half. "Zachariah!" The curly, who was leaning against the locker next to his girlfriend's, turned his head and smiled seeing the face of his lifelong best friend. "Hey, Oliver, you look happy" Alina said as she closed her locker and adjusted her brown tube top before putting her hands in the pockets of her baggy jeans. "How not to be after hearing that a new girl is coming to Ridgeview?" The brunette's eyebrows rose and she smiled, her dimples now visible. "Oh, a new girl?"

"A new possibility for Oliver to find a girlfriend?" Zach's remark made Oliver laugh and he squealed in delight before clapping his best friend's outstretched hand. "Hell yeah!" The two teenagers laughed together, making Alina smile, they were fun. "Lucas came up to me earlier and told me there was a new student coming tomorrow, who will be in his class," Oliver said, making his best friend roll his eyes. "Of course he's happy, he'll probably try to get into her pants" Alina raised an eyebrow seeing the annoyed expression on her boyfriend's face, he really looked like he couldn't handle breathing the same air as Lucas Blue. "What's up with Lucas?" The brunette's question seemed to have stopped time, or just Oliver and Zach, who stared into each other's eyes for a long time before the latter spoke. "Um, old story, hard pill to swallow, um, don't wanna talk about it" A silence fell in the conversation, during which Zach and Alina's gazes were locked on each other.

The ringing made them come to their senses and made the brunette smile thinly. She signaled that she had class before stroking the back of her boyfriend's hair and kissing him softly, leaving him with the light skin. "You think she's angry?" Zach worriedly asked Oliver who didn't know where to stand. "I've never seen her angry, how would I know?" The two teenagers sighed and then went to class.

At the same time, in another hallway, said new student set foot at Ridgeview High, lollipop in mouth and hands in pockets. Her backpack was almost empty and the teenager still wondered what she was really doing in this rotten high school. "We're happy to welcome you back, Miss Miller," the headmaster, that the dark haired couldn't stand, and vice versa, said. Unfortunately, it was his job to show her her new class and act like he liked her. "You can just say you were with me, without needing a late ticket. Have a nice day, Miss Miller," were his last words before leaving the teenager outside her classroom door. Saying she was excited to get back to school would be the biggest lie to come out of her mouth, and yet the teenager had said some incredible things.

Sighing, her fist banged against the classroom before she pulled the doorknob to enter. The entire class gasped loudly and the black haired girl struggled to find someone she tolerated. "I'm sorry for the delay, I was with the headmaster," she said without even looking at her teacher, who sighed when she saw the student. "Miss Miller, welcome back to Ridgeview. Come closer, I won't bite you." She rolled her eyes and approached her teacher, who then pointed to a seat. "You can sit next to Mr. Blue" At these words, the black haired smirked before remembering a detail. "I don't have my glasses on, I can't see shit," she said aloud, making her teacher sigh again. Lucas laughed then raised his hand to guide the black haired. Sitting next to the member of the Sharks, he turned his head towards her to observe her, without her looking at him in turn. "What? Ya never seen a ghost?" The teenager's question made the blonde laugh, who answered without taking his eyes off her. "Ghosts this hot? Nah, never. So, Maxine Miller is back?" Smirking, the black haired replied. "Maxine Miller is back"
