"So,..." Lucas Blue began, leaning against his fridge. "When are you... coming back?" He said looking at the teenage girl who was driving him crazy making herself a hot chocolate wearing his gray hoodie and with wet hair. "Mmh, ..." she replied without even looking at him and adding sugar. "I thought maybe we could... go to the movies, together. Like, like, as a date?" Scratching the back of his neck, Lucas observed the relaxed attitude of the black haired girl. "Mmh, ..." she replied again sweeping her hair back then sitting on the counter before sipping her drink. "Or we... we can...  do nothing... I'm fine with nothing," he said, making her respond like the previous times, but this time with a smile. "I'm fine with nothing too" Lucas held back a sigh of frustration. "Max, answer me honestly," the black haired girl cut him off with a sigh. "Awn, I don't like it when it starts like that" Lucas approached her and got between her legs to take a closer look. "I know, I know, but... it has to, so please be honest and answer my question. You came back for Zach, right?" Placing her mug on the counter and stroking the back of the football player's neck, Maxine pressed her lips to his before kissing him then pulling back.

"Only for Zach," she said, looking Lucas dead in the eye before stepping off the counter and heading to her room to put on her last night's jeans, socks and platform sneakers, without even drying her hair. She went to the main room and told her now friend with benefits that they could go to school. In the car, silence reigned and it slightly annoyed the black haired, who connected her phone by bluetooth and then put on some music. Despite his frustration, the driver's fingers tapped to the rhythm of the music on the steering wheel, making Maxine laugh, who was dancing in her seat. Before she left Texas, she and Lucas were only friends through Zach, even though he was already attracted to her at the time. When they argued, she came to his house and even if nothing ever happened, Lucas had always kept hope. And now, sleeping with her had made him even more addicted. "Howdy, Oliver," were the black haired girl's first words since stepping into the car. The light-skinned, whom Lucas picked up from his house almost every day, came in and sat in the back, greeting Max with a big smile. "Yo, pretty girl. What's up?" Relaxing the atmosphere in the confined space, the three teenagers began to chat until they arrived at the school.

"No, you completely missed them, not me! I'm an excellent cook, unlike you, handsome brunette," Alina Morgan said, leaning against her boyfriend's car, who was laughing at her. Last night, the couple had given themselves the challenge of making cupcakes and Zach, being quite bad at the stove, had burned a lot of them, and had preferred to put flour on his girl and accused her of having given the wrong instructions. He loved seeing her fake pissed off and tapping his shoulder, trying to hurt him. "If you really were, you would have saved a few... There was one cupcake left, Ali, only one" The little brunette glared at her boyfriend before adjusting her cap and the hood of her hoodie and pointing the finger at the curly's best friend. "We'll ask Oliver's opinion" Looking towards the car, Zach couldn't help but roll his eyes as he recognized Lucas's and then slung his bag over his shoulder as he saw the light-skinned get out of the car. The smile he had on his face immediately disappeared when he saw his ex-girlfriend get out of the car, Lucas' hoodie on her. He had recognized it since it had the Sharks logo. Arm around his girlfriend's shoulders and Oliver at his side, Zach entered the school before saying that he was going to his locker, which was way too far from theirs. Passing his twin in front of her locker, the curly kissed her head, making her scream in surprise and then gasp when he saw her brother laughing at her reaction. "Get out of my sight, you obnoxious character," she shouted down the hall, amusing her twin.

Facing his locker, Zachariah tried to make the combination of his lock, which seemed not to want to open. Frustrated, the curly tugged on it violently before letting go completely, he wanted to open it not break it. As he tried to calm down, two pretty hands adorned with silver rings and manicured nails took his padlock in hand before opening it easily. "How can you do it wrong when your combination has been the same for four years?" The curly's hazel eyes met those green orbs that he could never forget and though he would never say again, that he loved so much. She leaned against the locker next door and smirked as her ex-boyfriend looked at her annoyed. "What's going on, huh?" Opening his locker, Zach responded coldly to the black haired. "Nice hoodie, didn't know you were part of the Sharks" The black haired laughed then replied, her arms crossed and a smirk. "It's Lucas'" The curly rolled his eyes and cut her off. "Oh, I've figured that out, don't worry" Still smirking, Maxine flicked the brunette's forehead, who closed his eyes in surprise. "You're so damn cute when you're jealous. But you have no reason to be, ..." she said before being cut off by Zach. "Max, I'm not an idiot, I know perfectly well that you were at his house and that you guys weren't watching movies" They had actually watched several movies, eaten together and talked in front of the beautiful view Lucas had from his apartment but as he talked he confessed to wanting to kiss her and one thing led to another. "It's always the one that shouldn't be suspected, huh?"

"Oh my... Zach!" She didn't have time to answer that the curly brutally closed his locker before leaving, making the black haired sigh. Frustrated, she went to class and changed places to stand alone at the back of the room. Pulling a mint green notebook out of her bag, Zachariah's ex-girlfriend began doodling on an empty page. "Psst! Max!" Rolling her eyes, she looked up and tried to see who was talking to her, without success. "I don't have my glasses, I'm blind," she said before lowering her head to her drawing again, making whoever had called her gasp.

"Howdy princess" Maxine's voice almost made Holly slip in surprise. Smiling awkwardly, the brunette swept her hair back before responding to the black haired. "H-Hey, um, Max... Um, wanna eat with me? You know, I have a little trouble with people and I don't wanna eat with my brother. Seeing him breathing makes me wanna throw up" Maxine couldn't help laughing at the things the brunette said before wrapping her arm around her shoulders and leading her towards the cafeteria. "Let's go, then"

Lying on the grass of the football field, Alina watched the sky and caressed the dark curls of the one she had fallen madly in love with, who had his head on her stomach. "You know, that girl, your friend, um... M-Maxine?" Zachariah's relaxed face twitched immediately and he refrained himself from running away. "I saw you two talking and, I don't know, ... She told me that you were friends and, ..." The brunette cut Alina off in an attempt to change the subject, well, to avoid bring up suspicions or uncertainties in her mind. "Yeah, I'm just having trouble with her sudden departure from two years ago... But w-why are you talking about her?" Zachariah suddenly sat up and looked at his girlfriend, worried. "Did she... say something to you?" Her girlfriend's large eyes blinked several times before she answered. "No, she didn't tell me anything... I meant she looked pretty cool. I kind of thought... I, I don't know, nevermind..."

"Wait, wait, what'd you think of?" Not knowing what to expect, the curly sat cross-legged and watched his girlfriend do the same. "Well, I don't know. I just wondered if... we could be friends, you know? Like, she seems... cool. She's kind of intimidating, but, but I love her eyes. I swear, she made me blush just by looking at me," she said, making Zach giggle, who was expecting anything but that. "Do not laugh Zachariah, I'm serious. Her eyes are so..."

"Yeah, yeah I get that... She has very beautiful eyes" Alina nodded before removing her cap and brushing her hair back and biting her lip. "She's friends with Holly, right?" Nodding, her boyfriend replied, still smiling. "Yep, but Holly also had a little crush on her. I don't know if she's still into her though" His own words made him laugh. During his relationship with Maxine, he had noticed his twin's strange attitude but he didn't yet know that she liked girls. When he strategically proposed to her if she wanted dates with his friends, she had no choice but to confess her preferences, showing her distaste for the idea. "Oh, really? I knew she liked girls, I was sure of it!" Zach laughed again seeing his brunette's infatuation. Her dimples were sticking out and he just wanted to poke them to make her laugh more. She was so beautiful when she laughed.
