Hurricane fumbled backward and stared at the pitch black scales that whipped by. She tilted her head in confusion before quickly following him. The nightwing slammed his talon down on the desk. "WHERE IS IT!?"

Hurricane flinched as the nightwing yelled. Her expression twisted into one of anger. It's a library. Who yells in a library?! Hurricane felt the prickle of lightning rising in her throat. Just as she opened her mouth to reveal a bolt of lightning ready to be shot, a young stormwing with gray and black scales rushed over and clamped her mouth shut.

Hurricane twisted around to see the small dragon and noticed that it was smoke. One of the dragons she went to school with. "Smoke?!" Hurricane whisper yelled. "What are you doing here?!" Hurricane looked even more angry than she was already.

Hurricane growled, and the small dragon took a few steps back. "Don't draw attention to yourself!" Smoke whisper shrieked. "That nightwing has been looking for a dragon that matched the one in his prophecy."

Smoke shrinked back as he stared at the nightwing that was still screaming. The nigtwing's claws dug into the desk. The librarian quickly ducked down as the nightwing blasted a beam of fire at the desk.

Hurricane ran up and grabbed the nightwing. She slammed him into the floor. The lightning pricked her throat. No one would stop her from attacking the nightwing, a burst of lightning shot out like a bullet as the nightwing kicked her stomach.

She winced, roaring furiously. Hurricane was the kind of dragon that ran in and didn't think before she attacked, but the element of surprise still wasn't enough. It only dawned on Hurricane that the element of surprise was impossible when fighting him.

If he was a real future seer, he would have known she was about to attack but didn't pay it any mind. She grabbed her stomach and fumbled backward before landing on her back.

She stared up at the nightwing. He looked as if he had just found the dragon he was looking for. Then it hit her, and she suddenly remembered what Smoke said about the nightwing.
