Aonung's pov
I haven't had a good sleep in the past few days due to nightmares. I rarely get a wink of sleep. Its frustrating. As much as i want to go and talk to Neteyam, i cant. I've been busy with duties this whole week. Its a pain in the arse. My stamina is absolutely worn out.
Currently, i am in the middle of helping out the men with hunting.

"Aonung! Bring the hunting tools, boy, we're heading out!" One of the men, Zenik, yelled out from the shore.
I signed 'Will do' and grabbed the weapons from the dock, once i made my way to the shallow water above the gloomy skies. I handed each of them a weapon and kept myself a crossbow. I whistled for my tsurak, Kil'len, and he made his way to me, thrashing in the water. I hopped on Kil'len and followed the leader of our hunt, Rekart, beyond the reef and began our hunting.

Time skip ~ 25 minutes later
"Round it up! We're done for tonight!" Rekart announced. You wont believe how relieved i felt hearing that. I was exhausted, i wanted to go back home and snooze off for the night but remembering that father had invited guests over, I grumbled tiredly. He didn't even bother to tell me who the guests were. Not to mention the fact that im soaked. There goes my first impression out the marui. We began to head back to the reef and once i hopped into the mirrored water. i sent Kil'len on his way for the night and bid Goodnight to my fellow hunters and walked off, home.

I sighed and stepped inside the pod and was suprised to see, that the guests were none other then, the sully family. My gaze shifted to Neteyam. Who had a blush plastered on his cheeks and was scanning my body up and down with his eyes. I smirked. Why did he have to be so gorgeous? Neteyam turned his focus back to his eating. I then looked to my father who then said, "Oh my son, you are here at last, come and sit!"

One moment father, I must dry myself, i do not wish to look improper infront of our guests" I said and chuckled walking off to my pod. I dried myself with a hand towel that Tsireya had knitted, carefully all around and changed into a fresh loincloth. Which took about 10 minutes at most.

When i walked into the main pod, everyone was eating, enjoying their meals peacefully whilst having conversations. I glanced at Neteyam to see him eating fish wraps with his pupils dilated. I let out an airy laugh and made my way towards the others and seated myself next to Neteyam. I noticed Neteyam taking a peak to see who it was. After all he had been having hes focus on the fish wrap, he hadn't even noticed me coming in. Neteyam turned his gaze away back to his fish wrap, nibbling on it. His side profile, it is very attractive. I shifted my gaze from Neteyam to Rotxo who had spoken. "Nice to have you back with us Aonung"
"It's nice to be back" I said with a smile.

Yeah- Neteyam was-" Kiri started but was interrupted by Neteyam throwing the fish wrap he held in his hand at her. I watched amused. I was quite suprised, i didn't expect him to do that. But i was also intrigued to know what Kiri was about to say. The others looked shocked, i suppose they too have been caught by suprise by his actions. "Sister I'm so sorry" Neteyam said biting his bottom lip. How can one be so perfect doing simple things? "Its fine Teyam, live a little" Kiri said rolling her eyes.
"Wow bro! i didnt know ya had it in you!" Lo'ak said and Rotxo followed with, "Me neither" "It was a little funny, you didnt have to Neteyam i would've shut her up for you" Tsireya said giggling.

I listened in the shadows to the conversation before me while i ate fruit. Why did reya need to shut her up? My curiosity kept rising. But i decided to brush it off. "Rude" Kiri said with a scoff.

I looked to Neteyam who scrunched up his nose. "Cute" I muttered to myself. Neteyam has me questioning my mentality and he definitely has me questioning my sexuality as well. I've never been attracted to a man before.
