Midori Kisaragi is currently crying in his bedroom while his best friend, Toshio Otomo, is comforting him after finding out that Yu is missing.
Midori has been screaming and crying about Yu all night. His mom warns Toshio that if he does not get her son to calm down, she will beat them up with her pepper crusher.
Toshio deadpans himself why is he being threatened. He is not even her son.
Crying noises are replayed.
"That is it, I'm going to find Yu by myself," said Midori.
Before, Midori can leave his room, Toshio stands in front of him. Not willing to pass.
"In the freezing snow," said Toshio. Pointing to the window of the growing snow. Piling up around the whole neighborhood and town.

"You will die out there before you can ever find her," said Toshio.
"I do not care. I am still gonna go out there. I'm not going to listen to anybody, who tries to stop me. Especially, you, who has done nothing but steal Yu away from me," said Midori.
Toshio winces at the comment. It is harsh. Cannot believing that his friend would say that. Especially, during Yu is missing.
"What does that supposed to mean? She is my friend too. You know. Ever since you find out about this, all I see is more butt than heart. What if Yu catches you saying this? Do you think she will be happy," asked Toshio.
"Move aside," said Midori. He pushes his friend to the ground. This causes a ruckus that alerts the mom up the stairs with her pepper crusher.
"I warned you. Now, you boys are going to be punished," said Midori's mom.
"Wait, why me? He started it," asked Toshio.
The boys run throughout the house. Being chased by a mom with a big stick in hand.
