One hour.

Just one more hour.

Then school will officially allow everyone to leave and take a long break from classes for the day.

For now, Arven was in the home economics room with his classmates, waiting for the bell to ring to dismiss him.

It's not that he doesn't like his teacher or anything like that. It's just the fact his mind has been filled with a lot of thoughts lately and he needed to step outside to take a breather and try to clear his head.

Especially after everything that's happened within Area Zero, right in front of his own eyes.

The research lab stations, the past paradox pokémon, Zero Lab...

And learning that his mother was deceased, all because she was trying to protect Koraidon from the alpha, and the one he had been talking to for a short time, was an AI all along.

Who was created, and made in every single way to look exactly like her, with her memories implemented in, while she was programmed to what she was programmed to do.

But...This was too much and too hard for him to process it all.

No matter how many times he looked at the AI version of his own mother during that event, she looked and somewhat behaved too much like an ordinary human.

Almost like his mother was still alive right now and had never passed away from an accident in the beginning...And was still standing there to see how much he's grown up over the years, since the day she left him and went to Area Zero but never returned.

Because of this, these thoughts overwhelmed him so much, it started to feel suffocating to him, which brings back to the main point of stepping outside for him to try to clear his head.

"Good afternoon, everyone...I have some news for you. Who wants to hear?" Mr. Saguaro began as he stepped in the classroom and looked over at his students.

"I do!" One of them piped up.

"Alright then...As some of you might've already heard, we have a student returning to our classroom today.

They've been studying abroad overseas for a while, so if anyone wants to, I'd like you to fill them in on anything they've missed out lately." He began.

"However, since we have new students here in the classroom, it's best for them to reintroduce themselves to the class.

With that being said..."

Then Mr. Saguaro turned to face the classroom's entrance.

"You can come in now."

Without any hesitation, the student stepped in and closed the door behind her, before walking her way over and turning to face the entire classroom as she stood.

When she did, her cyan eyes glazed over the room before diverting her attention back at Mr. Saguaro, as he turned to face the classroom in front of him.

After seeing her enter in the room and turning to look over at everyone, Arven immediately froze from where he was sitting.

Just by looking at her, it was clear she looked similar, very much like his own mother...

So similar, she could pass off as a dead woman's double.

The only things that made her different was her hair color, the glasses she wore on her face, and the clothes she was wearing, which was obviously the school's old, orange-red colored summer uniform.
