Tristan's p.o.v
"I'm so happy to finally be going home," Christina whined while zipping up her luggage bag. She flipped her hair over her shoulder to look at me. "You don't seem to happy about it,".
I finished tying up the laces on my sneaker and stood up from the bed, dusting my jeans off in the process. I began to start thinking about Angel. Her warm smile, her reserved demeanor, her little adorable laugh she would do when she got shy around me. Just the thought of her made my whole body freeze up with exhilaration. I could feel sweat radiating from my hands.
"Hello?"
I looked up, my eyes connecting with Draya's. She stood in front of me. Her hands connected to her hips. She wore an annoyed expression. A grimace tugged at the corners of her glossed lips.
"We're you even listening to me?" She questioned.
I sucked my teeth, walking pass her to look at my reflection in the mirror. I ruffled my hands through my dark brown curls and turned back around to face her.
"Yeah I guess, ima just miss my family that's all," I lied.
"Please, you barely spent time with them anyways. You were too busy getting your dick sucked. Now you wanna act fake sad. You really kill me," Draya sassed bumping my shoulder hard before she left out the bedroom.
"Bitch," I mumbled under my breathe before
Plopping back down on the bed. I fell back against the bed, enjoying the feeling of the satin sheets against my bare back. I closed my eyes, enjoying the still quietness.I heard someone knocking against the door, followed by a familiar male voice.
"Tristan, can I come in?" The voice sounded.
I sighed loudly, sitting up on the bed.
"Yeah,".
Travis walked in, my father trailed in behind him. Travis took a seat on the chair that sat right next to the door and my father stood up. They both started at me hard.
"Ya just gonna stare at me or..." I trailed off, not liking the feeling of them staring at me so intensely.
"So, what time your plane take off?" My father spoke up, stuffing his brawny hands into his pockets. "You got all your stuff packed up
I see,"."Tonight at eight, yeah Draya woke up early and staring packing,".
Travis started chucking, " She wasn't playing no games".
My father cleared his throat, insinuating he was about to start talking.
"Well alright son. I'm gonna miss you. Don't be a stranger, you know where home is,".
He walked towards me with his arms stretched out. I stood up too. He pulled me into a hug and stroked my head for a moment.
"Love you pops,".
He ended the embrace with a kiss to the top of my head then pulled back.
"I'll be in the kitchen if ya need me,".
I watched as my father left the room, closing the door gently behind him.
"You know his old ass bouta go in his room and cry right?" Travis started laughing.
I laughed too,
"Yeah,".
Travis stopped laughing and lowered his voice , moving in closer towards me.
"You heard from Angel?"
"I been tryna call her. She hasn't returned my calls. I don't know man. I don't think she like me like that no more. I don't know what I was thinking, coming up here and thinking shit was just gon' fall into place. I got my life already set up back home,".
Travis nodded as I spoke.
"I would say try one more time, that shit gonna eat you up if you leave and don't see her one more time,".
And with that, Travis stood up and gave me a smirk.
"Love you bro,".
"I love you too,".
