*Angel's p.o.v*

"T-t-tristan you can't kiss me," I said as I backed away from him.

He had a look of confusion and worry on his face.

I tilted my head to the side, noticing Travis standing there. He looked extremely mad, so mad that his caramel complexioned skin became a rosy red color. He didn't say anything but his hand tapped aggressively against his leg.

"Tristan let's go. Now!" Travis roared.

Travis whimpered as a response. The fearful look on his face as he slumped over to Travis made me grip his arm.

"He's not going with you," I said, glaring directly at Travis.

"Angel let go of his arm," Travis warned impatiently.

"No," I retorted.

Travis turned to face Tristan and so did I. He glanced at the both of us, mentally trying to choose who he would listen to.

"I-i-i-i h-h-have t-t-to g-g-go h-h-home," Tristan responded.

Travis snickered while he gripped Tristan's other arm. He stepped in front of Tristan, still keeping a tight grip on his arm, then he whispered in my ear.

"You see, he's my little bitch. Whatever I say goes,".

I stepped back, looking at Travis in pure hatred and disgust.

"Tristan you don't have to go with him. We can go to the mall and get new clothes if you want," I pleaded with Tristan.

All he did was put his head down.

"Oh so you brought him those clothes," Travis smirked.

"Yeah I did," I sneered while narrowing my eyes at him. "What about them?".

Travis rubbed his chin hair, he always did that right before he said something arrogant or disrespectful.

"I ripped them up," He smiled as he stepped closer to me. "Then I spit on them,".

In a quick motion I swung my knee up, successfully hitting him in between his legs. As he hovered over groaning in pain I tugged on Tristan's arm and we ran out of the school building. Tristan continously tripped as we made our way to my car. Once we got in my car I started up the ignition and then my car smoothly shifted out of the parking spot.

"Tristan you okay?" I asked. He had been quiet since we left the building.

"Y-you h-h-hit T-t-t-travis," He said blankly. There was no emotion on his face.

"Yeah," I stated. "He deserves way more than a kick to his dick but that's a start,".

I briefly looked over at Tristan, a small smile was on his face. Then he smirked.

"You can laugh. It was funny," I giggled.

Tristan no longer suppressed his laughter. He laughed loudly for a few minutes then he returned back to his quietness.

"What's wrong?" I asked, realizing that I enjoyed the sound of his childish laughter.

"W-w-what I-i-if T-t-t-travis d-d-does b-b-b-bad t-t-to y-y-you l-l-like h-h-he d-d-do t-t-to m-m-me?".

"Travis won't lay a finger on me," I replied confidently.

I believed Travis wasn't that stupid.

Tristan stayed silent.

"I-i-i-i s-s-sorry,".

I knew what he was referring to and I already accepted his apology. I didn't want Tristan to get led on. I just didn't like him like that.

"It's fine. Just don't kiss me again. Got it?".

He nodded his head in understanding.

"Where you wanna go?".

"I-i-i-i h-h-have t-t-to g-g-go-,".

I cut him off. "You can't go home right now Tristan. Is your dad home?".

"D-d-d-dad c-c-comes h-h-home l-l-late,".

"Okay. I'll take you home later. You wanna go get some icecream?".

"I-i-i-i d-d-don't-,".

"I have money Tristan," I said.

He didn't say anything else. We drove to the nearest Icecream Parler. Alot of teenagers hung around there because it was so close to the school. Hopefully they weren't here today. As I parked my car in the parking lot for the Parler I spotted some familiar people. I didn't want them asking questions so once I got out of the car I tried to rush into the place but of course someone stopped Tristan on his way in.

"Uh oh it looks like retarded boy knows how to get to an Icecream Parler all by himself," I heard a feminine voice taunt Tristan.

I quickly swirled around, coming face to face with the girl who was brave enough to say that to Tristan.

"Excuse me but he has a name, I would prefer if you called him by it," I remarked.

Before the girl could retaliate a boy from the lacrosse team butted in. I had recognized him from school.

"He's with you?".

"Yeah he's with me," I said.

They all busted out into laughter. I simply ignored them and grabbed Tristan's wrist, pulling him into the Parler.

"Y-y-you d-d-didnt h-h-have t-t-to d-d-do t-t-that," Tristan murmured once we got inside.

"But I wanted to,".

I strolled towards the register, attempting to order two vanilla cones but once I saw the brown haired boy turn around and his icy blue eyes stared into mine, my breath suddenly became stuck in my throat.

"Johnny?"
