So this lovely human, Hello-Willow (on quotev, not wattpad sorry)  , made fanart for this book I'm im incredibly happy and excited rn and like I've never gotten fanart for a book I wrote before so sadjfsdkfaksdfk- anyway, it's the beautiful picture at the top- and like, girlie even got the whole sunflower theme for the book I'm screaming- so yeah. P.S. I have no idea when these oneshots are, cuz like we know it's after Hunting Palisman but I don't think it's after Eclipse Lake?? Yeah so they are kinda just floating in the space-time-continuum I guess?

🌻heeheehee random scenario time🌻

🌻A random memory from you🌻

🌻One time, a little after the both of you first met, the Golden Guard got an injury on a mission and, on his way back, collapsed in the middle of the woods. Fortunately, you were taking a walk that day, and noticed something slightly golden peaking out from a bush. You quickly ran over and discovered Hunter laying on the ground, unconscious. You had learned a bit of healing magic, and decided to try and help him. But first you had to figure out where the wound was. There were multiple. The scar on his chest (from the first chapter,) had gotten infected and split back open, and he had a new wound on his forehead. (You could tell there was one on his face by the blood dripping out from under his helmet,) You quickly set to work trying to heal the wounds. First you slowly lifted up his shirt and, using some bandages you had thankfully brought with you and a bit of healing magic, his wound was healed. Next, you took off his helmet. What you saw was not something you expected. He looked like a young boy, around your age. Hell, he could have been a student at Hexside. He had dirty-blonde hair, a gap between his teeth, and a scar on his cheek. Also, there was blood spilling out from a slash on his forehead, so you quickly wrapped it in bandages and used a healing spell. Almost immediately after that, he woke up, letting out a shout about something-or-other and headbutting you by accident. It took him a minute, but in the end he blinked and realized who he was looking at, and began questioning what he was doing there. You told him you had found him, collapsed in a bush, on the side of the road. He was confused at first, but nodded and grunted his thanks for you healing him. You smiled and nodded, and he headed back to the castle and you went back to the Owl house. The last thing you said to him as he walked away was, "be careful, you might not be as lucky that I was there as you were today, Goldie!"

🌻A random memory from him🌻

🌻One day he was on a mission for the emperor, which is a dumb start to this memory but like yeah. Apparently you were both headed in the same direction, and bumped into each other. No literally, you both fell and died right there. Not literally died, but you elbowed him in the face pretty hard- denting his mask. He yelled at you for that, and you just rolled your eyes and used a quick spell to fix it. Easy. "That was incredibly childish," you said, smirking, "I feel like I've accomplished something," he blinked, and his ears turned red, which, thankfully, he thought you couldn't see. But you ain't as blind as the author. You smirked and waved, dancing away, and leaving him incredibly annoyed behind you.

🌻random things he does🌻

🌻When you are sitting on the couch *reading, watching something, etc,* he will immediately decide that it was an invitation to lay his head on your lap, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. But hey, why would you? He's cute and we love him. Sometimes, if you two go out in public together, he grabs your hand and squeezes it, as though to make sure he isn't alone. You find it cute, and always squeeze his hand back, as though promising you aren't going to leave. He mostly does this in crowds when there's a bunch of people and he doesn't want to get lost, but he does it sometimes when the two of you are alone. Just to make sure you're actually there. You find it cute. Another thing that he randomly does is, whenever you flirt with him, the tips of his ears go red. Along with his entire face. Dude had no idea what flirting was, and you had to explain it to him. The poor guy probably never even had a hug before. Give him a hug. Give him lots of hugs. Do it.

🌻random things you do🌻

🌻Out of nowhere, you just randomly hug him from behind. Every single time, he jumps slightly, then realizes it's you and calms down. Sometimes, instead of just a hug, you give him a bunch of kisses on the back of his neck because you feel like it. At this point, you can imagine that his whole face is red. Heeheehee. Anyway, another thing you do is, if you're sitting on the couch and he doesn't lay down on you, if he walks by you will immediately grab him and pull him onto the couch, and there is no escape for him. No seriously. Fun fact : one time he tried to teach you how to cook, and you almost burned the house down. Literally. set the fucking water on fire. How did you do that? I don't have a clue, Hunter doesn't have a clue, God himself doesn't have a clue. You're just special, I guess. Anyway, as I've said before, you help him with insomnia and nightmares. Sometimes, you randomly wake up in the middle of the night and there he is, hugging you like his life is on the line.
