NATHAN'S POV

I turned the corner, and saw Jay and Saf hugging.

"Please don't tell anyone," she said silently.

"I won't, I promise," he said sincerly into her hair.

Don't tell anyone what? What's wrong? Did she tell him about Trey? Is that why she walked out? Because Trey had called her and she needed to be held? She could of asked to talk to me.

Wait, I don't know what's going on so I'm not gonna jump to conclusions.

They released eachother and I took a step towards them.

"Hey Jay we go on in an hour, so you should get to hair and amke up," I said, looking at Jay.

Jay gave Saf a soft look before nodding and walking towards the make up room.

Saf turned about to leave.

"Wait, saf?" I asked, she turned and we met eye to eye. Those grey eyes made me weak.

"Yeah Nath?" she mumbled.

"I'm here for you, okay?" I told her.

"You don't even know me," she stated.

"Neither does Jay but apparently you let him hold you because you need someone to help you get through whatever your going through." I answered.

She was about to say something but she stopped her self.

"You don't know me Nathan," she repeated softly, looking down.

"That's the point. I can get to know you. So far you are amazing...and great..." I trailed off.

"I'm not a great person Nath. Trust me, I'm no good," she said, as if she was giving up to something. "I'm really trying to be! I'm really really trying to change from who I was to a better person, but I'm not there yet, so yeah a lots going on now, and yeah I was hugging Jay. He's like my older brother. He was there for me at the time," she explained, looking in my eyes.

"He was there for you?" I repeated, confused.

"I know Jay," she said simply. "Last summer we met and he kept me from trouble. I was in a gang, and was doing stuff I wasn't supposed to because I hung with the wrong people. Jay was like my older brother. I told him everything and then, with Trey, he didn't like that I had a brotherly bond with Jay, and he got mad, and stuff happend," she explained, sincerity in her voice.

I was happy she was being so honest with me, but i needed to know something.

"Do you like him?" I asked, hoping the answer was a no. I mean Jay is my brother, but I really like Saffire, and I want to get  to know her.

She shook her head.

"No, he's literally like my big brother," she answered.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked.

She smiled. Oh, her smile.

We were close together now and I grabbed her chin softly towards my face so she would look at me.

Her grey eyes pulled me in.

"I believe you are a beautiful person inside and out, and even if you may be going through a hard time right now, it's okay because I am willing to help you get through it. You are so beautiful, strong, and independent, and you don't deserve to ever be hurt, by anyone. I understand your trying to heal, but after only spending a couple hours with you, you gave my world a new perspective. You made me happy, and you gave me something to think about. And that's love. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying, but basically I really like you and would like to take you somewhere really nice and spend time with you so we can get to know eachother better. Like a date?" I finished my mini monologue.

She took a step closer, her head leaning against my chest as I now had my hands around her lower back in a hug.

"I would love that. And I understand what your saying. I really like you too, and yes, I feel more than the same way," she finished, squeezing her arms around me. I pulled her even closer, and shut my eyes.

Thank God, she said yes.
