Chapter 14: Tell Me What Happend

Saffire's Pov

I'm a strong person-I know that...but when Trey's around It's like I shrivel up and become weak.

I still had my face covered but I listened to his footsteps. He walked away and I watched him emotionless.

Good.

I walked into the bathroom to look in my reflection.

Crap!

My eyes widened. A red mark was on my left cheek, and it wasn't going away. No no no!! I rubbed the skin-an attempt to heal it quicker. It'll be healed by the end of school.

I took my hair out of the nice lil ponytail and let the curls ruffle a few inches past my shoulders.

Alright.

Perfect, I pulled some of the curls in front of my face to hide the mark.

Nathan sent me a text saying he was on his way when I got to my last period that I had with my brother.

I went to the bathroom just before class and the mark is fading slightly, but purple is starting to replace it.

Did he punch me or slap me? I'm not even sure anymore.

"Saffire!" I heard a familar female voice call my name to sit by her.

I smiled and waved taking a seat next to her. I remembered this girl, her name was April, and she was really smart. She has a lot of classes with me and she's a junior.

Her eyes were big with long lashes and her hair was long past her waist.

She was always really sweet- like the gossip girls I was forced to associate with, but she had something different that she wanted from me besides a story. She wanted friendship.

"Hey how was your weeked?" I asked smiling, taking out my supplies for class.

She told me about her weekend, and after talking all period with her and getting in trouble over three times, I told her about my weekend. She promised not to tell without even asking her to keep it a secret.

She gave me some great advice and right after the bell rung.

My brother came over to let me know he was leaving. I said bye to him and my new real friend.

Nathan called saying "I'm outside"

I smiled and walked out of school as best as I could to NoT see Trey.

"Oh my God. Is that Nathan Sykes?" I heard a few girls shriek.

I turned to their voices to see him and there he was, in his "rent a car"

I chuckled slightly as he pulled up beside me. I got in and I heard girl shrieking and I rolled my eyes locking the door. He was wearing a nice red beanie, with a white t and skinny jeans.

He instantly grabbed my neck and pulled me in for a mini kiss, which I loved how his kisses were adoring and gentle but passionate and rough when needed.

His hand moved to cup my face but I pulled back due to the bruising pain.

Nathan gave me a curious look and we were now separated. His face came to realization and he pulled my curls from my face and behind my ears to get a better look.

Shock for him.

Embarrassment for me.

I pulled back, buckling myself in. His hand grips the steering wheel giving off that sexy tense but frustrated look.
