JAY'S POV

I heard the fumbling down stairs, and I couldn't take it anymore.

"Why won't you just listen?!" she cried.

My eyes caught site of Saffire kicking Trey. Trey scrambled, until he had her in his grip, making them both fall to the floor.

"Trey!" she screamed as he slapped her again.

Anger raged inside of me. I reached the bottom of the stairs just in time to pull Trey, with a hard grip off of her.

"Saff?" I heard another guys voice from upstairs yell, as he came down the stairs. I'm guessing it was her brother. They looked alike, except he was taller, and had a masculine look.

Saff got to her feet while I pushed Trey away from her towards the door.

"I don't want you near her do you understand?!" I yelled at Trey.

Trey scoffed, glaring at me.

"Bro, you need to calm down! We were only messi'n around. We always do that," he said, like he was crazy.

"I told you I don't want you near me!" Saffire yelled pointing a finger at him.

Her brother gave everyone a confused look, coming inbetween Trey and I.

"Are you bleeding?" her brothers voice came out as shock.

My eyes snapped to my side, where Saffire was standing. Her lip was slightly busted, I turned my whole body towards her to wrap her in a hug, while glaring at Trey.

"What just happend?" her brother hissed to me.

"Trey was smacking her around while she was trying to tell him to stay away from her! She's moved on, and he's obsessed with her!" I said angrily, looking at Trey.

Trey chuckled to himself.

"It's not even like that bro," Trey commented, shrugging his shoulders.

He looked so innocent.

Wow.

"You hit my sister?" Saff's brother asked coldly to Trey.

"No, Just a few slaps," Trey said shrugging his shoulders, non caring.

Saff's brother took a step towards him about to punch Trey but was stopped by Saff's voice.

"Joe, don't do anything stupid. I'm fine," Saff's peaceful voice rung in the room.

"Get out Trey. Before I do something I regret," her brother said, anger in his voice.

"I'll see you around Saff," Trey said smiling wryly.

"No you won't. Are you mentally unstable or something? She said she doesn't like you Mate!" I yelled.

"See you babe," Trey said, winking at Saffire when we realeased eachother.

That was it. Saffire's brother punched Trey straight in the face.

"Stop it!" Saff yelled, making an attempt to go over there and stop the fight. I pulled her back as the boys now swung at eachother. She tried to pull out of my grasp as I held her back.

SAFFIRE'S POV

Joe punched Trey hard in the face and I tried to rush to break up the fight once Joe start punching Trey in the chest.

"Stop it!" I yelled, but Jay pulled me back as I tried to break up the fight.

Joe knocked Trey to the ground and start punching him as hard as he could in the face.

"Joe stop! He's bleeding!" I yelled, trying to break out of Jay's grasp.

Trey got Joe off of him some how, and gave him one hard knock in the face, causing him to hit his head on a wall. Trey got on top of him, and began punching him non stop. Joe did his best to block the punches.

PUNCH.

CRACK.

I felt as if slow motion took over. Jay, holding me, pulling me farther away from the fight, and my brother being knocked unconcious.

I felt myself shudder and scream as I reached for Joe, as he lay still on the floor. Jay released me and ran over to fight Trey.

Trey was strong.

But I believed Jay was stronger.

Jay grabbed Trey and pushed him hard over one of our couches, as I rushed to Joe's side.

"I told you not to do anything stupid," I cried after almost each word as I shook him back and forth.

"Wake up JOe! Wake up! Wake your ass up!" I cried, putting my ear against his chest to hear a heart beat.

"Jay!" I asked for help as he wrestled non stop with Trey.

"Call 911 Saffire!" Jay was able to say as Trey wrestled with him on the ground. Jay punched him in the side several times, and I took a deep breathe. I heard his heart shuddering very slowly, so I grabbed my cell phone out of my pocket and called 911.

911 operator: 911 what's your emergency?

Me: Hi, my name is Saffire and Im here at my house, and my ex, knocked out my brother.

911 operator: What is your address and is your ex still there? Who else are you with? Are you in a safe location?

I shut my eyes, focusing on my brothers quick heart beat.

Me: My address is 5022 Gilsberg street, yeah right off of the 6-23. Yes, my ex is still here, fighting with one of my friends who is also present. My friend is trying to hold him until you guys get here. Yes, I'm in a safe location.

911 operator: Alright, your doing good Saffire I have an ambulance and a couple police officers on their way. They should be there in a few minutes. Now, we need to focus on your brother. Are you beside him? Is he breathing? Bleeding?

Me: Okay, thank you.

I pull my head up from Joe's chest and check on Jay who has Trey in a head lock.

Me: yes, he's breathing. And yes...

For once, tears start streaming from my eyes.

Me: He's bleeding.

911 operator: Okay honey, I need you to be strong, where is he bleeding? How bad is the wound?

Be strong? I've been strong for too long. I can't keep this up.

Me: I don't know! I just see blood, under his head/neck area. Please tell the ambulence to hurry up.

More tears came.

Trey had punched Jay in the gutter and caused him to fall to the floor in pain. Trey turned his glare towards me before kicking Jay repeatedly in the side.

"Stop!" I yelled at Trey, and then he came for me.

I dropped the phone, putting my hands up protectively in front of me as Trey was now in front of me.

"Come here!" I tried to run but I was grabbed, and pulled by Trey towards the door.

"Jay! Please get up! Jay!" I cried, as I tried to smack Trey.

Just in time-the police and ambulence came. Thank God.
