Elias POV
After what Adelene told me and Skyler I was worried what if the same thing was happening to Lucas? And what if that sweet smile that I see that Luke sees everyday is just a mask? All my worries came up at once as I opened the room door to where Lucas was.
" Lucas are you okay?" I asked him as I kneeled down in front of him checking every part of him I could see with my eyes.
" Yeah, why would you ask?" He asked me flashing that sweet smile at me which made my arms wrap around him pulling him close hugging him tightly as his arms matched mine.
" Did he hurt you?" I asked as I could feel Lucas is confusion as he laid in my arms.
" Did who hurt me?" He asked with a slight chuckle.
" Your father." I replied as all the breath in his lungs left, his eyes widened, and body tensed.
" You don't have to answer because I already know but just know that I'm always here for you if you need anything, want anything, I'm here okay Lu." I said as I heard a slight whimper come from him as I begin to rub his back as he cried in my shoulder.
" Thank you Eli." He whispered in my ear tears running down his face as I smiled continuing to rub his back as I swayed back and forth making his breath steady.
" Just know Lu, that when you ever feel comfortable with talking about it I'm here and he can't hurt you ever again he will never get you here you're safe, you're safe, you hear me?" I asked as he nodded and reply making me smile as we continue to hug one another.
" You promise Eli he asked with a little whisper as I nodded and whispered back.
" I promise Lu." I whispered as he smiled swaying back and forth.
" I promise."
