Alev POV

We sat in a not so comfortable silence because we didn't know if he was lying or not and I know I can't tell maybe but maybe Sarah can but from where I'm standing I don't think so.

Our silence filled the room until finally it got unbearable for Sarah making her speak her mind.

" Do you believe him? Or do you think he's playing with us? Because I can't tell." She asked honestly as I thought for a moment.

He could be doing both or one of the two.

" To be honest I have no clue and if you think about it he could just be saying that to say that and get what he wants from us or he could be telling the truth but still will probably get the truth from us so no matter where you put it or how you put it he wins in the situation." I explained as Sarah listened to long before replying.

" So in short terms we are fucked either way, nice." Sarah said with a smile as she laughed a bit making me laugh.

" I think that's the point but no worries I have a plan." I told her making her head shoot up with widened eyes and a smile.

" I knew you would have one eventually but not this soon." Sarah said with a chuckle as I smiled and replied.

" Well you want to hear it? Or do I keep it to myself?" I asked her sarcastically as she shook her head.

" Please do tell." Sarah said shoving herself closer to me so I could whisper just in case they were listening in on our conversation which they probably were but who cares?

" So what if we tell them fake information, we go off a fake story, say that we will work with them until they give us dependent or Adelene and them come to get us which no doubt they are but still, we can use this offer to our advantage." I explained quietly and Sarah nodded but stopped for a moment then she spoke.

" Why would we want the pendant?" She asked me as I sat in silence for a moment before realization hit her.

" You want to go home?" She asked again and honestly, I don't know what I want.

" I don't know." I replied and she nodded and shoved her chair back before the man came back down which didn't take long for him to do.

" To visit in one day? How lucky." I said sarcastically to Sarah who laughed before we heard the door closed and the man walking down the stairs.

" Hello ladies."
