Elias POV

We watched as they left with our young siblings smiles, on their faces as they did so which truly made me smile at the thought that our well my brother made new friends and was happy about it.

" They're actually happy to be here you know." I said making Adelene and Skyler look at me with eyes of agreement.

" We know but if they're cause trouble-" Adelene started but was interrupted by Skylar.

" I highly doubt that they will cause trouble but something does seem off about them." Skyler said as she watched them from the table making me confused at her response.

" What do you mean 'something off about them'?" I asked her as she thought about her answer for a moment before she replied.

" I mean like the way they came into our lives, I mean saving our siblings in the forest randomly? Highly doubt that they came by their own will." Skyler explained as I nodded.

She had a point though I mean how did they end up here? They seem fine, happy even that they're here but even I could tell that when I saw them for the first time that they had already had wounds on them before the elves so were they running from something before hand?

" What are you thinking Elias." Adelene asked me as I looked at both of them.

" I have a weird feeling that they were hurt by something or even someone before they got here." I told them was honesty as they nodded.

" I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thought that." Skyler said as we all knew that something was up.

" Well whatever happened to the they're not telling us and I don't want to push them to do something that they don't want to do." Skyler started which I think we all agreed on.

" So we wait then." Adelene said making our heads turn to look at her as she sat there silent.

" What do you mean?" Skyler asked as Adelene continued on with her speech.

" We wait for them to trust us enough to tell us I mean if they were hurt by something or someone and they're not telling us that means they're not comfortable with us so we need to wait." She explained as me and Skyler nodded in reply.

" We wait." I said as me, Skyler, and Adeline looked through the back doors watching as our little siblings and our new human friends as they smiled and laughed as they played.
