Time goes by in fazes. The clock ticks and ticks away. Everyday, nothing changes. The same classes, same kids, and the same school. Everyday the question lingers, "What is my purpose?"

"Skye! Get up! Your going to be late!" My mother yells while opening my door.

"I'm up" I manage to say while lifting my dark purple, cozy, humble, blanket off of me.

I stare into the basket of clean clothes, that I forgot to put away. After scavenging I found, my classic outfit of long black leggings, with a random t-shirt, which is covered by an oversized hoodie. I start to head to the bathroom, which of course was being vacant by Caden, my younger brother.

"Hurry up Caden! I need to get ready!" I say while banging on the door.

While waiting, I managed to grab my text books and essentials for school. Putting them into my shockingly sturdy backpack. I had that thing since freshman year. I open my bedroom door to walk to the bathroom. Caden left the bathroom which allows me to finally brush my teeth and get ready. The noise of my mom catches my attention to head down stairs.

"I'm leaving. I have to go to work. Love you both." Our mom says to Cayden and I.

"Love you too." Cayden and I say in unison.

I start to make my coffee. The process starts measuring the beans which will be put into the grinder, then proceeds to go into the little expresso basket. I press slightly onto the grinded beans then it goes into the machine. I watch as the pressurized coffee comes out. Meanwhile my brother is shuffling behind me preparing his morning tea. Soon after, I made my coffee how I like, some sugar and steamed milk. Looking at the time, it catches my attention to start the car. I start to walk to my white, sedan, small, compact car, to warm up its graceful engine. I then retrieved my stuff from inside the house to put in my car as my brother is about to head out with me. Driving to school is one of my pleasures. I dislike music some mornings, today was that day. The sky was clear, not a lot of clouds in sight. Arriving at school requires social norms. I don't really fit in anywhere. Caden is lucky enough to be quite known. He get out of my car and starts walking to the school. I put on whatever song I had playing the other day and stared out the window. The parking spot I was lucky enough to receive was near the woods. Seeing the slight wind press against the leaves and the birds flying between branches has always been a peaceful sight. I closed by eyes for a little bit listening to the music. After some time passes I shift my eyes to my phone. 8:30 am appeared. I start to grab my things and proceeded into the school. With 5 minutes to get to the class.
