It was past midnight when Aurora got called in to work. When her phone went off, her pet niffler woke up too. And let's just say, waking Aurora up is one thing, but waking up Shiny is another. If you think Aurora is moody as her sleep gets interrupted, wait until you see her burglar-like pet. Shiny looked at the girl irritated. "I know, buddy, I know." Not even caring to change, she just put on her red and golden slippers and cloak. She quickly put her wand in the pocket of her pyjama pants before she turned to the creature. "Are you coming with or-?" The girl didn't even get the chance to continue her question before Shiny climbed into her shoulder. "Alright, let's go." The girl opened her window and climbed out of her room by using the tree next to it. As quickly as she could, she made her way to the Man Cave. When she arrived there she noticed Henry and Charlotte already there. The girl gave a simple wave before taking off her cloak and laying down on the couch. Her pet took its place on the girl's stomach. The other two started pacing anxiously. Normally Aurora would do the same, but the girl was too tired.

"But why would he want us here after midnight on a Thursday?" Henry asked, breaking the silence.

"I don't know." Charlotte answered. "But if it's because he had a bad dream again, Aurora and I are not gonna sing him a lullaby this time."

"Oh, hell no." Aurora muttered with her eyes closed. She was almost at the point where she could fall asleep when someone ruffled her hair. "If you want to live, I suggest you stop. I am not joking!"

"I know." Henry said causing the girl's eyes to open. "If it wasn't for Char or Ray, you would have hexed me already." This caused the girl to smile at the memory.

"What can I say, I'm naturally vicious." The witch shrugged as her pet climbed up and nestled itself in her neck. A small smile formed on her lips because of this gesture. This also caused the blond boy to raise an eyebrow at her with an amused smile. "But only if I want or have to be." Then the girl heard a faint long-lasting scream.

"Maybe it's an emergency." Henry suggested. "Like maybe he-" He got interrupted by the elevator doors opening.

"I'm here." Jasper said walking into the Man Cave. He was an American flag onesie and had curlers in his hair. The three others looked at him in disbelief.

"That's an emergency." Henry said pointing towards the boy.

"Are you... Why would..." Charlotte said confused walking towards him.  "Curlers?!"

"What? You thought my hair was naturally curly?" He asked.

"Do we have to discuss this now?" The witch asked grumpily as she sat up and Shiny sat down on her lap.

"Hello there, sleeping beauty." Jasper joked, only now seeing the girl on the couch.

"Who?" Aurora asked confused as she put her hair up into a messy bun.

"Princess Aurora?" The boy said with a questioning tone. The witch still looked at him confused. "You know, from the fairytale?"

"Uhm no. Pureblood witch, remember." Aurora reminded him as she motioned to herself. "I didn't grow up with those fairytales. I grew up with the stories out of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, stories like the tale of the three brothers or also known as the Deathly Hallows."

"The what?" This time it was Jasper's turn to be confused.

"Never mind." The girl sighed as she shook her head. The girl placed her niffler next to her on the couch before standing up. Then the tube came down before Ray came down too. He seemed strangely happy. He also had a dopey grin on his face
