ITALLICS = SPEAKING IN NAVI
Jake was waiting in home tree for kyuna to return from the hunting party, neytiri had been nice enough to tell him training would he postponed until maybe midday. The man sat in a corner of hometree, a small navi girl came up to him shyly. She must have only been 5-6 years old, jake sent her a soft smile.
"hello" she spoke fiddling with the wooden toy she held in her hands.
"hello" jake spoke back.
The girl laughed before sitting down infront of him with her legs crossed and handed him her toy. It was a dragon like creature, jake had seen them before but he didnt really know what it was.
"thank you" he spoke once again.
Before the two could talk anymore, the hunting party returned, the little girl immediately sprung to her feet, grabbing jakes forearm and pulling him along with her.
"come come they have returned!" she shouted excitedly pulling the man to where the hunting party was placing down any kills they had made, as well as their equipment.
The girl soon let go and ran to two adult navi, jake assumed her parents. He scanned the party until his eyes fell on kyuna.
The girl lifted some arrows , holding them with both arms when jake made his way over.
"here let me help" he spoke reaching his hand out to the girl.
"it is okay jake i can hold them" she said, looking around to see if there was anything else she needed to move, "but could you help me and carry those bows" she tilted her head looking at the man.
"yeah sure" he spoke attempting to fit all 15 bows into his arms, he then followed kyuna to where they needed to be placed.
"i am sorry your training was postponed, if im ever going to be late again you are welcome to ask another warrior to begin your training for the day" kyuna spoke smiling turning to look at jake once they had both placed down the objects in their arms.
"oh uh nah ill stick with you" jake rubbed the back of his neck.
"aww do the others make you nervous" she teased poking the arm which was closest to her.
"oh shut up" he rolled his eyes, kyuna soon started walking away again.
"so today i want you to meet my ikran, is that okay?" kyuna turned to look at him, seeing him nod she retrieved her head peice from a satchel near where flying equipment was held.
After an hour the two had climbed to one of the higest branches of home tree, it was actually the same branch the two had looked at the stars on. Kyuna silently placed down her head peice, jake stared at her with a blank expression on his face.
