<Chapter two>

(Farmers pov)

I woke up to the sound of my brother, papyrus, yelling my name, "Comin' bro!" I yelled back, I sighed and got out of bed. Put overalls over my white T shirt, pulled on my jacket, (ik technically he wears like flower shorts or something but shush) and slipped on my flower slippers. I walked sleepily down the stairs smelling papyrus making breakfast, I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table with a yawn, right then papyrus placed a plate of eggs and bacon (idk I couldn't think of anything else TuT) "thanks paps" I thanked him "NO PROBLEM BROTHER!" He smiled at me and ate across the table. After eating breakfast, I grabbed the dishes and washed them, papyrus called from door "BROTHER I WILL BE GOING TO UNDYNES FOR THE DAY, WILL YOU BE ABLE TO TEND TO THE FARM BY YOURSELF?" "yeah bro I got it" I replied "OKAY THEN, SEE YOU LATER" he shouted shutting the door. I sighed finishing the dishes 'better get to work' I thought, I walked over to the door, took off my slippers, put on my boots, grabbed my hat, and walked outside to start with my chores.

~time skip~

I was about to tend to the carrots, when I heard the chickens going berserk 'must be another animal or something' I thought as I walked over. I looked past the fence surrounding the chicken coop, and saw a skeleton passed out "oh my gosh!" I said running to get inside the coop. I looked over the skeleton, and they were not in good shape. Well first there was a giant hole in their skull, but besides that they were all beat up 'looks like they lost a fight of some sort, wait why am I just standing here I need to help them!' I thought picking them up over my shoulder, which was pretty difficult to be honest. I carried them inside and placed them on the couch, I looked around and found a spare blanket, I put it on them and then felt their head 'no fever or anything' I walked up stairs and grabbed some bandages from the bathroom, I went back down and started to bandage everything I could without taking their clothes off because that would be rude and weird... (yeah I see you guys :\) even though their clothes were pretty tattered 'I'll offer them some of mine when they wake up I guess' I decided 'I'll go finish the rest of my chores and check on them after'.

(horrors pov)

I opened my eye sockets, and looked around for a second before jolting up. 'where am i?!' I thought frantically as I looked around, I appeared to be in a nice cozy living room, I then noticed the skeleton sitting in an armchair across from me, he was reading a book "oh hey you're awake" he smiled, putting down the book, I just stared at him trying to remember what happened 'oh that's right, that damn squid shoved me into...where ever this is' I then noticed the bandages put over my injury's "...did...you do this?" I said gesturing to my bandaged arms and legs "uhm yeah, you were pretty beat up when I found you passed out in the chicken coop" he replied, I didn't respond. I tried to get up, but immediately failed and fell back on the couch "woah easy there pal, you need to rest" the skeleton said standing up, "are you hungry?" He asked. I nodded my head vigorously the thought of food sounded amazing, he chuckled before walking into the next room over, I looked around for a second before the skeleton popped his head back in the room "you can call me farmer by the way" he said with a smile before going back into the other room. 

Not a minute later I smelled something amazing, 'what is he making that smells that good' I pondered my mouth full of drool, I shook my head 'stop, you're going to eat, and then you're going to dust him' I looked around seeing if my axe was around. It wasn't, 'damn it, maybe he has it?' I thought, and then farmer came into the room with a tray of food, "here ya' go pal" he said placing the tray on my lap. I looked at it for a second taking in what was on the tray, there was some kind of soup and an assortment of fruits on the side. I instantly started to eat 'wow this is really good' I admired "wow you like to eat huh?" He looked surprised, I didn't reply as I put down the bowl of soup. "C...can I have more...?" I asked embarrassed, he chuckled and grabbed the tray "sure pal" he left the room to get more '...maybe I won't dust him...for now...' I considered.

Farmer came back into the room, that delicious smell following him, he put the tray on my lap again "help yourself" he smiled, I ate my second helping even faster than the first. Farmer was about to take the tray back to the other room, when I grabbed his sleeve "...horror..." I whispered "hm?" He looked back at me "you...can call me...horror" I said softly, he looked at me strangely before saying "well then, horror, welcome to me and my bro's farm" he smiled, 'farm?' I asked internally, I let go of farmers sleeve, and he walked away. I then noticed the window in the room, seeing the view of crops, and some other farm-like things, 'yep, I'm on a farm...that means food' my eyes widened at the thought of all the food here. I sat there just dreaming about food. 

(farmers pov)

I walked back in the living room with 'horrors' third helping 'what a strange name...' I thought but shook it off as I walked over to him, he seemed to be spaced out a little, but he looked happy nonetheless. A small smile made its way onto my face, I decided to leave him be and placed the tray on the coffee table next to the couch. 'I'll go set up the guest room for him' I decided walking up the stairs, past me and papyrus's rooms, to the spare room, and got to work getting it a little more suitable.

(horrors pov)

I realized that I had spaced out when I heard a door open, and following it a voice "BROTHER I AM BACK" the unknown person yelled extremely loud, I winced at the volume 'and I thought boss was loud' I rolled my eyes. I then noticed that the tray with food on it was on the coffee table 'when did that get there?' I questioned, but I quickly shook it off, I then heard someone coming down stairs, I leaned a little to try and get a better view of the hallway, I saw farmer just getting down the stairs "Heya bro, how was Undynes?" He asked a very tall skeleton 'oh its his papyrus' I realized "MOST ENJOYABLE" the papyrus replied smiling wide "that's good, oh and bro, we got a guest over" farmer mentioned "GUEST? WHO?" the papyrus asked looking down the hallway, spotting me watching them 'oh crap' I thought as I quickly got out of view while staying on the couch.

 I panicked silently as I heard the approaching footsteps, farmer walked in first and then said "paps, this is horror, horror meet papyrus" he said gesturing to us both, the papyrus smiled big "HELLO HORROR, I'M PAPYRUS, BUT YOU PROBABLY KNEW THAT" the tall skeleton reached out his hand, I just stared at his hand, before glancing nervously at farmer, who looked confused, yet amused. The papyrus was extremely confused by the looks of it, but he kept his hand there still, I nervously took his hand, bracing myself for something, the papyrus smiled at this and energetically shook my hand. Farmer chuckled as the papyrus let go off my hand.

 "BROTHER DID YOU FINISH ALL THE FARM WORK?" The papyrus asked putting his hand on his hips, "yeah" farmer replied "REALLY?" Asked the papyrus, who seemed very skeptical "go see for yourself if you want" farmer shrugged. The papyrus grumbled something, and then left the house to check. "oh hey horror, when you're done with that food, could I help you to your room?" Farmer asked 'my own room? You barely even know me...Wow this au is n̶i̶c̶e̶ weak...weak...nothing like home' I thought before I nodded. I scarfed down the food and farmer grabbed the tray again, and left the room, then it hit me 'I can't portal back in this state...I bet I couldn't even take these two down if I tried right now...I guess I'll have to play along...' I sigh wondering if anyone in nightmares gang even cares that I'm gone.
