Rissa walks towards the school entrance. On the way, she sees Raphael getting out of his car. She shouts 'hi' and thanks him for what he did last night.
"Hi, Raph!" Rissa shouted as she approaches.
"Oh hey, Rissa! Didn't see you there." Raphael shouts back while struggling to get his backpack from the car.
"Listen I wanted to thank you for what you did last night, It was-" Rissa was cut off.
"Oh no worries, It's all right. Everything for my homies." Raphael said continued by him closing the door car.
They both walk to class together. Today is Monday, the first day of the school week. Raphael is having the same class as Chelly. They're having history class for the first subject of the day. Luckily, it is still 7:45am. The students here are still hanging out and stand in front of their lockers. Raphael splits up with Rissa and quickly finds Chelly, since they're going to have their first subject together.
"Alright, Imma go find Chelly. See you later!" Raphael said.
"Alright, bye!" Rissa waved.
Raphael starts finding Chelly. He heads to the history class, hoping that she would be there. Thankfully Chelly is talking to her bird friend, Tabitha. Chelly herself is also a bird, an owl. She has brown hair, with a litlle goth aesthetic for accessories. Her name is actually Owlachelly, but people call her Chelly for short. Raphael shows up right in front of her."Oh my god, Raph!" Celi said looking at Raphael.
"Was it all true? Tell me what happened" She continued.
As soon as Raphael starts to speak, the bell rings, letting everyone know that school has started and it's time for them to get inside the glass. Raphael then thinks about telling this later, so he can tell everything without interruptions
Along the history lesson and all the subject he's learning today, he's not really paying attention. His mind is all about Andrew, he can't stop thinking about him. He's really worried of what will happen to him.
Finally, the lunch break arrives (12AM). Raphael gets to meet Chelly again. He waits in the line to get his lunch with Chelly behind him. Raphael has spaghetti and a chocolate milkshake. Meanwhile Chelly, she has mac n' cheese with mashed potatoes.
They sit on the table after waiting in the line. They put their lunch down and start talking.
"Raphael, what happened? How did it all happen?" Chelly asked out of wonder while shoving a spoonful of mac n cheese in her mouth.
"So I was alone in my house, and we were just texting, he told me he was in a bar with Cliff and Rissa. And then I ... I was feeling lonely, really really lonely. So I asked him to come over to watch Star Wars with me. But then he didn't reply back, he left me on read. I was waiting the whole freaking time. Then I heard that there is some kind of three hyena guys in an all-black outfit who came there and caused drama or some shit. Turns out they're taking Andrew just because he accidentally hit them when he was trynna get down from the damn stool and dropped their glass of beer. A fight happened between the three hyena guys and the motorbike gang who stands up for Andrew. I heard Andrew is pretty close with the leader, he's a really nice person. Anyways some of them got shot and Cliff got stabbed in the belly area." Raphael said.
"Omg, I can't believe all of that happened. Is Cliff okay though?" Chelly asked.
"Yeah he is fine now, but Andrew isn't. I don't know where the hell he is and what are they doing to him right now." Raphael said while drinking the chocolate milkshake.
Rissa finally comes to the table and puts her food there. She's with Hannah, her best friend. She is a brown cat, has long beautiful hair, and she has that jade green hoodie aesthetic.
"Hey, what's up?" Rissa asked while taking a bite of her glazed donut.
"Look, a witness right here," Raphael said.
"Oh, good thing you're still alive," Chelly said.
"Well, I was so afraid I went to the kitchen. I didn't witness the whole shooting thingy. Wanna know what witnessed? I saw Andrew getting lifted up, I saw Cliff bleeding real bad. And I almost got shot in the head if I didn't follow my reflexes." Told Rissa.
Raphael finally can eat his spaghetti right after telling everything that happened to Chelly. Hannah finally gets the chance to have her line. Hannah just got back from her weekend holiday with her friend group.
"Man, I still can't believe it. The fact I was literally back home from San Antonio having fun and then Rissa told me this. That such a drastic mood change." Hannah said.
"I feel sad though," Hannah continued.
Chelly remembers something from Raphael's story, Raphael mentioned three big hyena guys in all-black outfits. Remembering they've had a history class before, in which the teacher talks about the myth of The Shadow Bandits. The talk occurs right after Mr Bronks, the history teacher, explains the history of the Dark Forces.
It all started in 3843, when Orlando Hanks, the leader of The Dark Forces started a move to take over Bandera. He slowly kidnapped several leaders of Bandera and tortured them to death. As time went on, people started noticing the loss of their leaders. Jerry Alpha, one of the leaders who remained started to notice the loss of the other leaders. He investigated and found out about the Dark Forces. Jerry prepared an army just in case the Dark Forces attacked, which actually happened.
A war begins between the Bandera furries and the Dark Forces. With the help of the good mages, they created a mystical weapon. A six-shooter with light-blued colored fire. It can shoot without bullets needed. Jerry involves himself in the field and fought with Orlando himself. He won the fight and got rid of the dark-powered furries. He left the helpless furries alive, guarded by some sheriffs so they won't make any trouble.
"Wait a second. Raph, did you remember? When we had history class, Mr Bronks talked about the Dark Forces or something." Chelly said.
"Oh, yeah — kinda?" Raphael answered.
"Ugh, this is why you shouldn't scroll reels in class!" Chelly shouted.
Rissa stares at her food with her head leaning on her fist, thinking about what she could do to save Andrew. Drinks her apple juice as she looks at her friends.
"We need to save him," Rissa said with her hand putting down the glass.
"Yes, exactly! But how?" Raphael responded with his ears up, continued by the sudden mood change.
"We could try to research the bad guys first, and then we could form a plan," Rissa said.
Rissa takes another gulp of apple juice.
"Are you guys in this?" Rissa asked.
"Yes," everyone on the table said.
"Okay, let's meet in Cliff's house tomorrow after school." Rissa said
The school bell rang, recess was over and it is time for students to get back to class. Hearing that, Rissa and her friends get up from the table.
"Alright guys, see you tomorrow," Rissa said
"Aight, bye-bye!" Raphael said.
Raphael walks to his class. Chelly, Rissa, and Hannah have the same class for tech class.
Meanhwile at Cliff's house, he's starting his motorbike engine. 'Vroom vroom' the engine makes. He gets down to lock the door first before leaving his house. He hops on the bike and goes to the Bandera Sherrif Headquarters (BSH). Remembering the missing of Andrew, he needs to file a report immediately.
