Meanwhile, at the 'UnderGround'...
The hyena who kidnapped Andrew walks alone towards Andrew's cell without Tyrone or Tristan by his side. They are busy handling the opening of the 'UnderGround.' He brings a pair of nice formal clothes and a perfume.
He stands in front of Andrew's cell, seeing Andrew who is sleeping. He opens the cell door and goes inside, then closes it again. He gets closer and closer to the bed where Andrew is sleeping.
"Aww, look who's sleeping,"
"Wake up, whiskers!"
He slaps Andrew right in his face cheeks. Andrew wakes up in surprise because of it. He instantly opens his eyes, his vision blurry at first, but then he sees the hyena standing over him. The hyena makes himself even closer; the distance between their nozzle is smaller than the size of a banana. Andrew steps back and leans on the wall, his heart racing.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" he asks nervously, his voice trembling.
The hyena snarls, his sharp teeth glinting in the dim light of the cell.
"The name's Gerald," He growls.
"Are you ready for your first day?" Gerald grins wickedly.
Andrew is not sure if he wants to resist or just follow along for the sake of his safety and not dying. He nods in response with sweat drenching all over his body.
"Hah, you don't have a choice anyway," Gerald says, his tone menacing.
"I'll remind you, little whiskers. You're going to work for me, and if you don't, things will get very unpleasant for you."
Gerald steps back. He keeps staring at Andrew's scared-looking face, enjoying the sensation of being feared.
"But first, take a shower and put on these clothes and this perfume." He tosses the clothes and the perfume bottle at Andrew, who catches them awkwardly.
"Is this for the barista thing?" Andrew asks.
"No, it's bartender, you idiot. Now go take a shower," Gerald says.
Gerald then pushes Andrew outside, making him fall, hitting the ground hard. Thankfully, the perfume bottle is made out of plastic.
"Get up, whiskers, the shower's that way." Gerald says, pointing to the right.
Andrew gets up and follows the direction Gerald pointed. He suddenly goes the opposite way, running away from Gerald. Gerald quickly runs to catch him.
"Trashbag," he chuckles.
Andrew gets caught and falls to the ground once again, with Gerald on his knees trapping Andrew under his body. He reveals his claws, with his arms getting darker, black thick smoke coming out, threatening Andrew.
"Listen, if you try to run away, I'll come find you, and it won't be pretty," Gerald threatens, his breath hot on Andrew's face.
Andrew nods in fear, realizing that he has no choice but to comply with Gerald's demands. He gulps in fear and stands up, his legs wobbling.
Gerald stands up and grins wickedly, his eyes fixed on Andrew.
"Now, let's get you ready for your first day as a barista," he says, pushing Andrew, who is walking towards the shower.
Andrew gets in the showers, but Gerald waits outside. As Andrew takes the shower, he can't help but wonder what he has gotten himself into. He has always been a good guy, and now he is being forced to work in a bar by a dangerous dark-powered hyena. But as he puts on the clothes and sprays the perfume, he realizes that he has to be strong and find a way out of this situation.
Andrew takes another deep breath and gets outside.
"Sir, I think I'm ready," Andrew nervously says.
"Good boy, now follow me." Gerald smirks.
They both walk their way to the door leading outside the basement of the UnderGround. After entering the door, a stairway is revealed. Andrew starts to think that the bar area is up there.
"Walk up," Gerald says.
They walk up the stairs, then there's another door, but it's passcode protected. Andrew can hear a muffled noise of music being played out loud. Gerald enters the passcode, 9374. The door beeps and gets unlocked. Gerald opens the door.
The UnderGround is revealed to Andrew's eyes. Lights flash colorfully across the room, loud music playing, and people drinking and dancing. He sees an area where people can trade or sell illegal stuff. He even sees someone selling a slave. Andrew can't believe his eyes. He has never been to a place like this before.
Turns out, Tristan and Tyrone are outside the door waiting for Gerald. They will guard Andrew as he serves the bar.
"Take him with you," Gerald says as he pushes Andrew.
"Yes, sir," Tristan and Tyrone respond.
"Welcome to the UnderGround," Tristan says.
"You'll be serving drinks today. Don't mess up."
Andrew nods and walks towards the bar. He walks through the dancing crowd; they appear to be dark-looking, wild and dressed up like heavy metal band members. Some are rough and intimidating, while others are just plain scary. Andrew hits someone, a scary-looking fox. He growls at Andrew out of anger, then lets him go. Andrew makes it through and walks his way again towards the bar he will be serving at. He can't help but feel nervous with Tristan and Tyrone watching his every move.
Turns out there is a big black bear who is there. He's the old bartender who worked for Gerald. Unlike Andrew, he gets paid every month. Andrew says hi to him nervously because of his size compared to him. The bear is big and scary-looking, with scars on his face and goth-like accessories on him.
"H- hi, are you also a barista here?" Andrew asks shyly.
"Ah yes, and you must be that new slave Gerald just got," the big bear chuckles.
Andrew is too stunned to speak. "Uh, yeah...?"
"Alright, he told me to teach you some drinks. Watch and learn." He says while getting a book on the wine shelf.
The big bear then passes the book to Andrew. He then introduces himself.
"I'm Tonio, by the way. Gerald paid me to go here and teach ya how to be a bartender here."
A few minutes pass by, and Andrew is performing well in making the drinks. He is a fast learner ever since he was little. He can imitate or learn something quicker than most average people.
"Nicely done, kiddo. Now I'm gonna come back tomorrow to see if you could still handle this."
Tonio leaves the bar and goes to the crowds; perhaps he was going to leave. Andrew waits for his first customer. He reads the recipe book so he can memorize more drink recipes.
