The girls left class with their books in hand, still confused by the class that Keating had done.

-That was weird. -Pitts said, raising her eyebrows.

-But different. -Nicole said, happily.

-Spooky, if you ask me. -Kim said, raising her eyebrows, just as Pitts did.

Charlie shook her head.

-Think she'll test us on that stuff? -Cameron asked.

Charlie looked at her, annoyed

-Oh, come on, Cameron. Don't you get anything?-She asked.

-What? What?

That night, the girls were in the bathroom, showering themselves, looking at the mirror...

-Let 's go, girls. Hustle up in here. -A teacher said.-That means you, Dalton. -She pointed at Charlie.

Meeks got out of the shower, with a towel on her head and another covering her body.

-Who's up for a trig study group tonight? -She asked.

-What? -Charlie asked silently to the teacher, looking at her, annoyed.

-Sure! -Nicole answered.

-Me! -Cameron continued.

-I can't make it, guys. -Kim answered, with her hair wet, a white T-shirt on, holding a tower on her shoulders. -I have to have dinner at the Danburry's house tonight.

-The Danburry 's? Who are the Danburry's? -Pitts asked.

-Big alums. -Cameron answered. -How'd you swing that?

-Friends of my dad's. -She answered. -They're probably in their 90s or something.

Charlie, combing her wet hair like a boy, bra on, towel around her hip, added:

-Oooo.

-Sounds great, isn't it? -Kim asked.

-Anything's better than Hell-ton hash, Kim. -Nicole responded, as did Charlie, with her bra and a towel around her hip.

Taylor, with a white T-shirt on, was looking silently at the floor.

Nicole snapped her fingers in her face.

-Hey. -She started. -Coming to the study group tonight?

-Uh, no. No, I've got some history I wanna do. -She answered, nodding.

-Suit yourself. -Nicole answered.

Taylor, alone, at her room, took of a notebook and wrote in big letters

"SEIZE THE DAY!"

She looked at it for a few seconds, she took a deep breath, got the notebook and ripped out the whole page. Then, she took up her Chemistry book, even though she wasn't going to study Chemistry.

Mrs. Nolan was waiting for Kim to go to the Danburry's house.

-Ready, Overstreet? -She asked her.

She took a deep breath.

-Ready to go, sir.

They left Welton. They arrived at an urbanization with small illuminated plots, since it was getting dark. It was a nice afternoon. The car parked and Kim got out of the car and rang the bell at the Danburry's house. When the door opened, Kim was impressed. The door was opened by a boy with blond hair and blue-green eyes that made the house shine. He smiled.

-Can I help you? -He asked.

Kim looked him up and down.

-Hi. Kim Overstreet. Uh... This is the Damburry's, right?

-Are you here to see Chiara? -The boy asked.

-Mr. Danbury? -Kim asked.

The boy laughed out loud.

-No!

-Sorry, thank you, Chris. I'm Mrs. Danburry. You must be Kim.

-Yes. -She answered, nervously.

-Please, come in.

Study group. Meeks was fiddling with his radio, trying to get it to work while his partner Pitts picked something up off the floor.

-Just... Replace these numbers here with X- For X and Y. -Cameron was teaching Nicole, who was wearing glasses and trying to concentrate on her work.

-Of course. -She answered.

-Of course, so, what's the problem? -Cameron asked.

Charlie, who was trying to do her math exercises by herself, was distracted by Cameron's sentences. She looked at her with disgust.

Kim walked through the front door of the living room, jacket in hand, and leaned against the door. Her face showed distraction, and above all, love.

All the girls looked at her.

-How was dinner? -Charlie asked.

-Huh? -Kim asked, zoned out.

-How was dinner? -Charlie repeated.

-Terrible. -Kim replied.

Cameron put the pencil behind her ear, while everyone looked at Kim puzzled.

-Awful. -Kim continued.

-Why? What happened? -Charlie asked her.

Kim dropped her jacket on a chair, sat down, and sighed.

-Tonight I met the most handsome boy I have ever seen in my entire life.

-Are you crazy? -Nicole took off her glasses. -What's wrong with that?

-He's practically engaged. To Chiara Danburry.

-That girl could eat a football. -Charlie answered.

-Too bad. -Pitts added.

-Too bad? -Kim repeated. -It's worse than "too bad", Pitts, it's a tragedy. A boy this handsome in love with such a jerk.

-All the good ones go for jerks, you know that.- Pitts said.

-Yeah, forget him -Cameron said. -Open your trig book and try to figure out Problem 5.

-I can't just forget him, Cameron. And I certainly can't think about trig.

Charlie nodded, while Meeks' and Pitts' radio started to beep.

-We got it! -Pitts shouted, looking at Meeks.

A teacher entered the room.

-All right, ladies, five minutes.

The radio squealed and buzzed while Pitts put it in her knees.

-Let 's go! -The teacher said.

Charlie licked her lip, got up and said to Kim:

-Did you see him naked? -She laughed.

-Very funny, Dalton. -Kim answered, annoyed.

All the girls started to pack up.

-That wouldn't be a radio in you lap, would it, Mrs. Pitts? -The teacher asked her.

-No, sir. -She answered. -Science experiment. Radar.

Meeks picked up her contraption and showed it to the teacher, while making little noises.
