They played soccer, aggressive like the boys. Taylor was running after the ball. She hit it so fast that even Keating hit it too. Nicole and Meeks were fighting over the ball, Pitts looked at them surprised. Keating was yelling something at them, something like "move, move your asses, you little men," and other things they didn't understand. The ball came very high, and Pitts, being the tallest, was the only one capable of hitting the ball and trying to get into the goal. Kim was running like crazy, squashing Nicole to steal the ball. Charlie was goalie, and when Meeks tried to score, she braced herself. The ball came and Charlie managed to stop it. Charlie picked up the ball and dropped it to the ground, giving it a very strong kick that made her look up at the sky, while Nicole ruffled her hair, happily. Kim quickly approached the goal, and scored the best goal in the world. Keating celebrated the goal, while the girls hopped on each other like boys at soccer games.

Pitts quickly approached Keating, as did her friends, and they caught Keating in the air, and together they carried Keating across the field. They were shouting happily, while Keating laughed. The beautiful golden light of sunset reflected in each of the girls' eyes.

That same night, in the cave, Taylor lit her pipe, while Pitts choked on it.

-Attaboy, Pittsie. -Charlie, with a black beret on her head, she was lighting her pipe.- Inhale deeply.

Charlie inhaled as she said, letting the smoke out of her mouth.

-My dad collects lots of pipes. -Meeks talked.

-Really? Mine 's got 30. -Charlie agreed.

-Your parents collect pipes? -Pitts asked, laughing. -Oh, that's really interesting.-

All the girls laughed.

-Come on, Kim. Join in! -Charlie said.

She shrugged her shoulders sadly. The sadness was seen coming in her eyes.

-What 's wrong? -Meeks asked her.

-It's Chrisssss. -Pitts added- Here's a picture of Chris for you!

Pitts handed the boy the magazine that Charlie once read, on their first meeting.

-Knock it off. -Charlie said, making the cave quiet. -Smoke your pipes.

Nicole came in later than them, lamp in hand.

-Nick! -Meeks shouted.

-Friends, scholars, Welton women. -Nicole said.

-What is that, Nick? -Meeks asked, while Nicole left the lamp on the floor.

-Duh, it's a lamp, Meeks. -Pitts did an obvious voice.

-No. -Nicole intervened. -This is the goddess of the cave. -

-The goddess of the cave? -Meeks repeated.

Suddenly, a saxophone started playing, which made the girls freak out. It was Charlie, who played a low note on her saxophone.

-Charlie, what are young doing?- Cameron asked.

-What do you say we start this meeting? -She smirked.

Charlie got up, to start playing.

-Did you bring the earplugs? -Cameron laughed. Charlie cleared her throat.

-Ladies. "Poetrusic", by Charlotte Dalton.

-Oh, boy. -Nicole said, while the others laughed.

Charlie played some wrong keys to make the others laugh.

-Laughing, crying, tumbling, mumbling,

Gotta do more. Gotta be more.

She played badly again. He approached Pitts, who was lighting his pipe again, pulling all his breath into the saxophone, while Pitts grumbled.
