Mean Surprises

      I walk down the hallway, while looking at my schedule. Then, I accidentally bump into a beautiful blonde that I recognized as... Brittney Holming. "WATCH IT JERK!" she yelled. I uncontrollaby yelled at her back saying "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE SCREAMING AT ME!". That's when she told me who do I think I am talking to her like that. I just stared at her blankly and she called her bffs name... Haley Miller. "Why are you messing with MY BFF?" she screams. I stare blankly until the warning bell rings. Let's just say I just got saved by the bell.
     I run to my first class, reading. I realized Lily was in the class as well so I head over to her. As I walk toward her I catch myself staring at a really cute boy. I shyly walk toward Lily who notices me and tells me to come over. I sit next to her and continue to stare at the boy. "Got a crush on the popular boy?" Lily ask playfully. I stop dazing and look at Lily with a confused look that said "What did you say?" Lily giggles and repeats what she said. "No, i-i just well he is kinda cute," I confess. " If I were you I would back off. That's Brittney the Witch's boyfriend so watch out. Don't start flirting with him. Sometimes Brittney won't even let anyone talk to him," she says worriedly. "I'll watch out," I answer. But, I'm not sure if I can keep that promise.
          Lunch period. One of the most important times of the day. I watch all the kids seperated into groups. The popular group, the sporty and jocky kids, and the nerdy geeks. I decided to sit at a table where some friendly-looking girls were sitting. I got ready and sat next to a pretty red-headed girl with cute nerdy glasses. "Hi, my name is Stephanie I'm new here," I say shyly. "Hi, Stephanie I'm Taylor nice to meet you," says Taylor. I smile and ask if I can sit next to her. Taylor responds," Sure always open for new friends."
I guess this was a start, I may have bumped into the meanest girl on Earth, but I still made some new friends or so I thought...
