Rivals? K.bakugo x Y/n

Chapter 13

"Y/n you did so good!" Mina shouts. 

"You did too!" I say 

Midnight had started talking and was getting ready to chose what the next event would be. It would be a cavalry battle. This would be a task we do in a team. We were head bands depending on what we placed in the obstacle course. Sense I placed 4 so I have 525 points. 

We started picking groups, I had no idea who's group I was going to be in.  I started to freak out because everyone already started to get into groups. 

"Hey dumb ass you're on my team" Bakugo shouts. 

"I love when you decide things for me." I say while rolling my eyes. 

"We only have 5 more minutes to pick groups and plan are you going or not" He says. 

I sigh and walk over, the group was made up of, me, Bakugo, Mina and Kiri. I was on the right ride, mina was on the left, Kiri was the one in the front, and Bakugo was on the top. This game worked by taking other people's  head bands that was wrapped around our head.  

The battle started soon after I got over there. Bakugo was headed straight towards deku when we started. I assumed this was going to happen but we ran into people from class 1b.  It was the weird blonde one that was there when we first found out about it. 

"Funny running into you here" He says to Bakugo.

"How is it funny,idiot I made it here before you even got a place." He says 

"Oh you think we did that on purpose" The blonde laughs.

"What do you mean" I but in. 

" we didn't stay behind because we could catch up, we stayed behind because we new there was a chance that it could be point based and we planned to stay behind enough to still make it in the top 40"He explains. 

Everyone was shocked at what he was saying. 

 "HAHA guess you guys never thought of something that good right?"He says. He was right we didn't. 

"You all are idiots, clearly your class isn't as special as it is put out to be"He says. 

In that moment I think I saw Bakugo want to actually kill someone. We never got to Deku because we started trying to fight with the blonde. We spent almost the entire time fighting him. Then we moved on ended up with quit a bit of head bands. 

We ended up in second place again. This is really getting old, but I am not staying in second. The last event we are doing is a one on one fighting. This was something I knew I would be good at.This is something I am going to win. 

It starts, I am up against the blonde boy first. His name is Monoma. I have no clue what his quirk is but I have a plan either way. 

"Oh here we are again" He says. 

"yep" I say.

We start fighting, soon I find out what his quirk is. He has a copy quirk, this is going to be hard. I can't use the most of my quirks without him copying it. So I used more combat, He doesn't seem to be any good at close combat at all.  It didn't take much to slow him down enough to start using my quirk. I quickly shoot fire at him before he can defend. Pushing him further to the end of the box.  I pushed him back causing him to fall back and get himself out of bounds. 

"Y/n advances to the next round!" Midnight shouts. 

I walk out of the arena and go to the stands to watch everyone else until I go on again. 

"That was great Y/n I wouldn't be shocked if you made it to first place" I hear Shoto say as he walks up to me. 

"Yeah don't let Bakugo hear you say that he might actually kill me" I say while laughing. 

"Really I thought you and Bakugo were friends?" He says. 

"What? no I wouldn't say we were friends."I say defensively. 

"Oh well you guys seem close" he replies.  He then walks away, leaving me confused. 

We not friends. I mean I don't think we are. 

"Idiot, go sit down you look stupid just standing there." He says walking passed me. 

I go find a seat before making myself anymore stupid. Clearly with the way we acted we are not friends. I sit beside Mina, She goes on in a couple rounds and I don't want to miss it.
