Rivals? K.bakugo x Y/n

Chapter 14

Mina was going on next. She is going up against Ida, I am excited to see her fight. 

They start, she seems to be winning. She puts acid on the ground to stop him from coming to her. he ended up being able to get out of the acid. he ran around her and push further to the end of the box.  She sprayed more acid towards him to back him up. He slipped behind her getting on the other side. He tries to push her but she grabs his hand pushing him back. He grabs the end of her arm lifting her and flipping her on the other side of the box. She lost but put up a good fight.  I get up from my place and go to see her in the locker room. 

"Mina you did amazing, I am so proud of you" I squeal. 

" yeah but I lost" She frowns. 

"But you put up a good fight and found new things to work on" I say. 

"Yeah" she said. 

We walk out of the locker room going to sit back at where I was.  We watch the rest of the first rounds.  I begin to go plan for the second rounds I am the second match. I am going up against Ojiro. I know this will be a difficult match so I am trying to plan out to do. He is a very strong fighter but doesn't have much when trying to fight long rage. So I will stay father away from him. 

The match starts soon after the last one.  I keep my distant's from him and shoot fire at him. He runs up and swings his tail at me. It smacks right into my legs. Sweeping me on the ground still far from the edge of a box. I jump back up, shooting fire at him while backing up. I continue to keep my distant's from him.  I shoot more fire at him pushing him closer to the end on the box. I run up to him to him Kicking him out of the box. 

"Y/n moves on to the last rounds" Midnight shouts. 

I go and sit down watching and cheering on my class. Most of them are winning and I am proud of them. I watch the very last round of the second rounds. It was against Deku and Shoto, they were both very good. In the end Shoto won, he even used his fire. I have never seen him use it before. 

I don't go on to the last rounds until the last one. I go against Bakugo, he is very good so I don't even know if I will win. He isn't stopping me though I am going to try my best and I am going to win this festival. I am still sitting but now I am figuring out how I could win. On and ON the matches go, Shoto won his again. So did Tokoyami he has been doing amazing. I think of trying to beat Bakugo. I will most likely have to use the barrier so i could move around while he blasts at me. Though he knows how it works now even if he doesn't do it on purpose he will break the ground a bit. I will need to defend more than I will need to put up offense.  I had no clue how much time had past it was already my match. I start to walk to one of the rooms. Mina stops me on the way there 

"Good lucky girl, I know you're going to win." She says with a smile

"Thank you" I respond walking to the rooms getting prepared before hand. 

I walk on to the arena minutes later. We are just walking around each other for the first minute. I finally shoot fire at him causing him to back up a bit. 

"you gonna need to do better than that to get me out idiot"  He shouts on the other side. 

He blasts and explosion towards me. Going with my plan I jump out of the way causing the ground to break. I didn't see but he shoots one at me again after I jump out of the way . It hits me hard in the stomach making me fly back wards. I was able to grab a shard of the rocks on the ground I cut my shoulder and shoot more fire at him. He blasts again but i was just barely able to block him. 

"This is an intense fight" Presidant mic says. 

My plan isn't work how I expected it to. He seems to have planned for this so I switched it up. I moved like I was going to shoot more fire at him. He blasts but I move before it hits me. Smoke from the ground comes up giving me more time to move without him seeing. I end up behind him like how we first fought. I shoot fire at his back causing him to fall forward. He flips over on  his back and jumps back. He blast me again, this time pushing me closer to the edge. I am going to lose... I haven't planned anything more.  I know that it will hurt but i should give it a try. I light my whole body on fire. I have very little time to do this before it gets to hot. I run up to him going for close combat. He tries shooting a blast at me but I move before it gets close. 

"You're losing Y/n try harder" I hear my dad shout. I didn't even know he was here. I look up mistakenly giving Bakugo time to blast me without me seeing. I fly backwards close to the end again.  My dad got in my head, I am losing right now. I was going  to win, If i can't win now how will I be a good hero. I shake my head and go towards Bakugo again. Instead of trying to fight I let him shoot again. I block it with a barrier.  I am starting to get too hot. I have to keep going I can't lose. I look at Bakugo and start running again. I jump up kicking him in the face. He blasts me again in the stomach. I continue to fight him, I am no longer on fire but I am burnt. Not too bad, I keep going, we have been fighting for what feels like forever. 

"At this point he is just messing with her" Someone says  

My body is getting weaker as I try to fight more. 

"Come on idiot don't tell me your done already you're better than this" He shouts while we fight. It gives me little motivation. I shoot more fire at him he is very close to the edge, But he blasts me again and thats all it took for my body to give out.
