Venessa and Rehn finally come back home. Rehn notices that Acklo was sneezing and sweating. Venessa seemed to catch onto this, and she took him into the barn. "Will all this actually get us home?" "Are we gonna go home?" Are we stuck her-" "if I were you, I would go inside, and have a break." "Alright." Rehn went back to the base. Dill came up to Rehn, and he patted his head, before jumping onto the bed. His mind began racing, when will this end? Will this ever end? How much longer until we leave?

Venessa sat Acklo down in the hay infront of her. He looked very bad, he was dying! Venessa went into the house, and walked up to the fridge. She took a small, skinny bottle, filled with green liquid. She rushed back to the barn, and sat next to Acklo. She tried to gently open his mouth, wich made Acklo weakly widen his jaws. Venessa softly poured the green liquid down his throat. Although he was saved, he still had the same sweating body, and was sneezing, so she left him to rest. Then she went back to tell Rehn to get ready.

Venessa opened the door and walked over to Rehn's bedroom, to find him sprawled out on his bed, halfway hanging down to the floor. "What in God's name are you doing!" "Just thinking." "Well come on, it's time to go." Rehn crawled out of his bed, and then followed Venessa. Dill came running up to Rehn, and the chirped. "Hey, bud" Rehn baby talked. "Sorry, buddy, it's too dangerous." Rehn continued. Dill just kept chirping. "Look, no means n-" "I don't see a problem with him tagging along, you do have that pouch", Venessa stated, cutting off Rehn."Alright, if you stay in the pack (the one Venessa gave him, not his backpack), then I guess you can come." Dill just stared. "Here" Rehn stuck the dodo in the pouch, his head sticking out of the top. "Okay, now let's go, but before we do that", Venessa continued, as she went up to the fridge, pulling out three, small bottles of light green liquid, "let's not forget these." "What are those?" Asked Rehn. "The megarabies antidotes", she replied. "Glad to see you didn't forget this time", Rehn smirked. "Yeah, my fault; now let's get moving, shall we."

"Alright, Bessie is just outside waiting for us." "Who's Bessie?" Asked Rehn. "She's my dire bear, see Acklo is gonna be alright, he still needs to recover, so in the meantime, Bessie will help us." The three come outside, and Rehn notices the huge bear. "Don't worry, ol Bessie likes all people." Said Venessa. Venessa went up to Bessie, and untied her. Immediately, she walked up to Rehn and Dill, and sniffed them. Bessie stared straight at Rehn, before turning away. This time, Venessa jumped instead of climbing, and Rehn jumped as well. Bessie stood up on her hind legs, and roared. The bear went back to her quadrepedal stance, and ran. "So what do we need to fight the first guardian?" Asked Rehn. "Let's see, we have the Clever Artifact, so we need the Massive Artifact and the Hunter Artifact, as well as two sauropod vertebraes, four argentavis talons, four t-rex arms, and eight megalodon teeth." Venessa listed. "That's a lot!" Stated Rehn. "The sooner we get to it, the sooner it will be."

The group came to a river, wich was oddly familiar to Rehn. "Hey, is this river close to a swamp?" asked Rehn. "Yeah, it is, you explore, or..." Venessa trailed off the spoke. "You know what, let's stay focused on our mission." Rehn doesn't say anything. "Alright, this is good, now stop Bessie", Venessa followed with a whistle. Bessie stopped in her tracks. Venessa, Rehn, and Dill hid behind a log, when Rehn saw them. A pair of long neck dinosaurs lay infront of them. "Just what I needed, diploducus, easy to kill, don't have the brain cells to fight." Venessa said. The animals were green, with reddish brown backs, and white underbellies. "Get your rifle ready", Venessa said, taking out her rifle, and aiming it towards the first diploducus' head. "I take left, and you take right." Suddenly, a boom fired across the air.

The first long neck bellowed in pain, and fell to the ground. The other was frightened, and began to flee. "Shoot the animal!" Venessa shouted. Rehn quickly aimed his rifle, and fired. This one did the same as the first, bellowed, then dropped. Venessa went up to her kill, knife in hand, and cut into the back of the animal. Rehn then walked up to her. "Take your knife, and cut the diploducus open at the top, then take out the dorsal vertebrae, know what that is." "Yeah, I think so." Rehn walked over to the other diploducus, and sliced its back open. He proceeded to carefully cut out the vertebrae. Venessa was already finished, and Rehn was soon after. Venessa took the vertebrae Rehn was holding, and placed both in a pouch, that was attached to the dire bear's saddle. They then went on.

"Okay, we'll go ahead with the next easiest one, the argentavis talons. We'll just need to head through the jungle, and then from there, make our way up the mountain. Bessie turns around at Venessa's commands, and heads into the jungle. They peacefully walk through the jungle for only a bit, before Dill begins honking. "Oh no, this is really bad", Rehn said worryingly. "Why?what's wrong?isn't that normal?" "He only does that when he senses danger!" Rehn and Venessa began cautiously looking around, while still moving, when Bessie stands up again, becoming nervous too. "You too Bessie! Somethings very wrong!" Venessa said. Rehn told Venessa "Look!" Venessa could make out the shape of horns! The animal came bursting through the palms. "Carnotaurus!" Venessa screamed. Dill historically flapped his wings, and Bessie roared, standing on two legs. This time, Venessa and Rehn fell off.

Venessa quickly reached for her rifle. Bessie was swiping at the carnotaur, who was trying to come closer. "It's that green one from earlier!" Rehn stated. You've seen one before!" Venessa commented then spoke again, "never mind, let's just help Bessie right now." Venessa couldn't get a clear shout, because Bessie was in the way. She ran to the side, and shout the carno in the torso, just to wound it, not kill it. The carnotaurus roared, and then turned away, running off into the jungle. "He's gone!" Rehn exclaimed. "Yeah, now let's continue." Venessa added. They set off to the mountains.
