The next few days just felt... wrong.
Nezuko should be happy that she finally got rid of that bastard, but her mood is a complete mess right now. ARGHHHHHHH!!!!
And... Nezuko didn't see Muichiro at school anymore. His seat was always empty and dusted.
She looks at his empty seat everyday, thinking when he's gonna come back and if it's her fault that he didn't come to school anymore.
She studied alone in the Dessert Parlor, glad for once that the background music was sad. All she felt was numbness. Finally, she couldn't handle it and went to visit Kanao for advice.
"Nezuko-chan-!" Kanao welcomed Nezuko with her usual smile. "Still no luck on finding a boyfriend?" She teased. Nezuko flinched.
"Ooh, okay, sit down.." Kanao noticed that something is definitely not right by the circles under Nezuko's eyes and her messy hair.
Nezuko started to sob and told Kanao everything that has happened.
"Aww," Kanao whispered, "Do you know what to do?"
Nezuko shook her head and let out another tiny sob. "N-No, that's why I c-came here to visit you."
Kanao frowned. "I don't know how to deal with that type of thing. But I'll still try my best, Nezuko-chan!"
"Oh." Nezuko looked away. Kanao felt bad. But it's not her fault that she haven't experienced the same things Nezuko experienced.
Zenitsu went to the Dessert Parlor again. He ordered a piece of cheesecake as he wondered why Nezuko seemed to still care about that bastard. He was extremely frustrated when suddenly a horrible idea came to his mind. What's so attractive about him? Wasn't I with Nezuko-chan the whole time, comforting her and everything? I am sick of waiting. She's not worth it anymore. I'm going to cheat on her... Zenitsu chuckled bitterly.
Muichiro stood there, feeling so numb. He finally understood how Nezuko felt.
I deserve it.
He shook his head and went back to his dormitory.
That day he went back to the milk tea shop alone, wanting to sit and think about all the things that has happened.
"Ottoto-san!" Someone called behind Muichiro. It was Yuichiro. "You're back so early! What happened?"
Muichiro turned, finding Yuichiro looking at him. An idea formed as Muichiro flinched. He tried to get it out of his mind but the idea have already dug its claws deep. He took a deep breath and whispered-
"Ottoto-san, I need you to do me a favor. Please pretend to be me and make things right between me and Nezuko-chan."
