Tiffany - What's going on? I saw Mark walk you out and Macy and Sally were together.
Sam - I really can't talk about it. I suspect it will be a few days before I'm back.
Tiffany - Oh plz, now you gotta dish.
Sam - I wish I could, but I can't.
Tiffany - Oh. Ok. Well, good luck.
Sam noticed that he also had a message from Macy on the account that he sends the verification pictures to. 'I release you from all obligations until things are cleared up. Enjoy your freedom.'
"Huh. I forgot about taking the cage off. I guess after wearing it a week, I didn't notice it as much."
He responds. 'Thank you Ma'am. You are very kind.'
'LOL You say that now.'
Sam shivered. Stressed from the day's events, Sam goes to the liquor store and buys a 12 pack of beer and a bottle of whiskey. Back at home, he finds an awful movie to watch as he orders pizza and pops open his first beer.
His alarm jars him awake. Looking at the time he freaks out, thinking that he overslept. Once he realized he didn't have to go into work, he rolled over and slept more.
Unsure what to do with his free time, Sam changes and heads to the gym.. There were only a couple of people there. Having not to wait for any equipment, he could finish his workout quicker than normal.
Back at home he was at a loss for something to do. He couldn't find anything interesting on TV, so he cleaned. When he finished his standard cleaning, he moved furniture and cleaned in places that he hadn't touched since he moved in.
Barely half the day had gone by and Sam was bored. He didn't want to send applications for a new job until he found out if he was fired or not. Though honestly it would be better to quit than to be fired for sexual harassment. He thought he was pretty safe, but he knew Sally had been playing this game a lot longer than him.
Unsure of himself, he spent the rest of the day switching between playing video games and looking at side jobs on freelance sites.
The next day was even worse for him. He spent longer in the gym, but when he got home the uncertainty of his job, his life, made it impossible for him to focus on anything.
Friday morning, he woke up and didn't want to get out of bed. He knew he should shower, eat, and go to the gym. But he just couldn't motivate himself. Eventually, his bladder forced him out of bed. After a lackluster breakfast and some bad day time TV, he debated drinking some of his beer for lunch.
He just popped the can open when his phone rang. "Hello?" Sam didn't even bother to see who was calling.
