Mage zero au: My favourite au most of the time. Oliver Jameson is found out to be the mage from a prophecy, after showing he is more powerful than any mage alive at five years old. He used a transformation spell, but transforming back was less seamless. He was left with cat hybrid features. Oliver grew up with overbearing parents, who always expected him to one up himself. Mage Zero meets a boy, and has to balance his family, his love life and his powers. Instead of finding a balance, his parents send him to a torturer to "make him obedient." He spends eight days, and is a mess when he manages to break free. His boyfriend, Bryce, takes him in, along with his family and their friend Jay. Oliver has a slow and tough recovery, and has to figure out how to live all over again. The crushing weight of the world on his shoulders, and his own life are all too much.
