   Neteyam's pov..

Aonung, Tsireya and Rotxo were teaching us more about their culture. if I'm going to be honest I wasn't paying attention a bit. I just started either at Aonung or Rotxo, just thinking if I couldn't get Aonung would I even go for Rotxo? I mean there are many other fine Na’vi men and women here so probably not.

I can hardly imagine my future so thinking about who I'll be mates with is even crazier

But honestly I think Rotxo got the hots for my sister, I mean it's obvious he always is looking at her, like.. now.

Rotxo turned his head to face Kiri and he was mocking the way Aonung said something. As I thought he always tried to show, do something funny, or just anything that could possibly impress Kiri. He was basically obsessed with her so I don't understand how Aonung, his best friend, thought he was in love with me. I mean I'm flattered and all but Aonung out of all people should know that he is not in love with me. We hardly even talk so there must be another reason

”Neteyam? Are you okay ”Aonung laughed and nudged me a little. I fixed my posture and looked at him ”yeah sorry I was thinking” I responded ”about?” Aonung raised his eyebrow (🤨) ”what you said earlier” I confessed ”hm?” he was confused ”you said you know,” I pointed my head at Rotxo ”liked me but I think, no I know he is literally obsessed with Kiri” I continued. He froze before he spoke ”oh I didn't really notice” ”why did you say all that stuff? I know you didn't mean it” I was curious, it's not like I cared about it

”i- .. I can't explain.. here” Aonung's eyes fluttered down and he seemed serious ”oh, I mean you don't have to I was only curious!” I didn't mean to upset him ”no I think you should know” his mood changed and it made it tense, I mean only tense for me and him everyone else was doing their own thing. ”oh okay then” I started staring at the rocks below me ”we can go now” he spoke up and stared at my eyes ”sure?” I wasn't too sure if I wanted to but for the sake of curiosity I agreed

He pushed himself up and then pulled me up

”thank you” I nodded ”come on” he said grabbing my hand, he more like grabbed my fingers having his thumb over my knuckles ”okay okay” I said running after him as he started to run faster basically dragging me ”JEEZ WAIT UP” I yelled ”NO YOU WANTED TO KNOW” he responded the same way. He slowly stopped. ”here we are” he stopped at the cave we met earlier ”oh I remember this place” I said as Aonung let go of my hand ”kids used to get knocked up in here” Aonung smiled and laughed and walked in ”good ol’ times” he joked around ”how hilarious” I rolled my eyes but followed him in the cave.

”so what were you gonna tell me?” I asked as we walked towards the back of the cave ”look you gotta promise you won't change the way our friendship is or something like that” he turned my way and put his hands on my shoulder ”okay?” I said worried he was going to say something stupid or that he killed someone which wouldn't make sense now thinking about it ”I... I fucked your mom” he smiled wide ”oh fuck you” I scoffed ”nah I'm joking I actually have hardcore feelings for you” he smiled again and then grabbed my head and kissed me and then walked off. I was stunned, for 40 minutes.

”what just happened ” I said to myself ”what the hell” I rethought everything ”im losing it” I scoffed and walked back to my pod

When I got to the main beach I heard my father yelled about some ’'darts'’ that the Tulkuns were getting hit with. I walked up to my brother who was also listening. I looked around me, all the sea Na’vi’s seemed extremely upset. ”what happened?” I whispered to my brother

He explained what the sky people were doing

(They are at their pods now)

Lo’ak was putting the gear on to the Ilu ”no way you're going baby brother” I said as I walked up to him ”no I have to warn payakan” Lo’ak stood his ground ”no, you have to keep your skxawng ass here” I responded

”i need to warn Payakan, he is an outcast there's no one else to warn him but me” Lo’ak argued with me ”bro why do you always make things so hard?” I grabbed his head then he shoved it off. There was a pause then Lo’ak spoke ”you mean why can't I be a perfect son like you?”, I got pissed, I put almost everyone above me and he didn't even realize all I do for him. I take all the blame all the time.

I made a face and backed up ”the perfect little soldier? Well, I'm not you, okay? I'm not you” Lo’ak confessed ”he’s my brother. I'm going” Lo’ak continued he turned to go into the water. I was offended. That fish thing? That's your brother? What has that fish done that I haven't done ”oh, he's your brother?” i grabbed him and turned him ”no, I am your brother” I yelled at him

Aonung, Tsireya, and rotxo swam up to us with their Ilus ”Lo’ak!” Tsireya yelled as she got up on the pod ”get off me” Lo’ak yanked his arm away from me and jumped into the water ”LO’AK!” I yelled at him ”come on” I hit Aonung ”he’s going to Payakan”I clapped to get my Ilu to move as I jumped on to it swimming after lo’ak, his skxawng ass can't be patient.

The others followed me and Lo’ak continued being angsty

I can't believe he basically called me ’' a perfect child '’ as if I didn't do so much to even own that title. I have to be more mature than him, I have to be the one responsible person in our family. He knows nothing about me or why I act the way I do. Why can't he just see me as a brother not a rival, we aren't a competition we are family.
