Neteyam's pov..

"theres Lo'ak" Tuk yelled "Lo'ak?" Kiri said as he passed her. He turned and then continued going forward "Lo'ak is going to find Payakan" I yelled to them "well wait up" Kiri said. I dunked myself underwater so I can swim faster and they followed me again

We followed him for a good 10 minutes at this point and then we saw Payakan. I swam my Ilu up and saw Lo'ak waving at the fish thing "payakan, Brother!" Lo'ak yelled at Payakan, he's calling it brother again. But I didn't have time to be pissed I have to keep my brother safe. "Lo'ak!" Tsireya yelled, "Lo'ak!" I said after her "Wait!" she yelled again. The Tulkun kept swimming around

Lo'ak was signing something to it but I couldn't see from how far I was from him "shit.. " I saw lo'aks face drop and the Tulkun stopped splashing around. We finally got cought up with lo'ak. Immediately Tsireya looks mortified

Lo'ak went to go get that thing off and we all joined in. Even me, surprisingly. Yes I am jealous of a Tulkun.

{ I forgot to write about how they even talked about and saw lo'ak bond with Payakan, sorry about that just pretend they did that already }

First Tsireya tried to rip it off but she couldn't do it. I sat next to her and pulled as hard as I could, I was still unsure what it was. "Aonung, pull harder!" Then me and aonung switched places so I could get a better pull and then I saw the ship..and then everyone else noticed the sky peoples ship

”LETS GO!” I yelled making a run or should I say swim for it (sorry for the cringey joke 🙏💔)

I jumped into the water swiming on my Ilu while I still had the stupid thing in my hand. I took a look at it, my last look at it and then dropped it. I kept swimming until I saw Aonung go into a leaf where there was an air hole in it. I followed him and came up to breath. ”holy shit” I said gasping basically, I wasn't too sure on how to breathe properly since my "teacher" sucked ”what the hell are we going to do?! ” Aonung panicked a bit and then we saw a light come up to us ”SHIT, get out!” I yelled as the light got closer and closer and I lost my Ilu.

We swam out as the smaller sky ship chased us. My heart pounded, fear took over and I swam downwards not sure where I am really going. The ship followed me like a hawk on a baby chick it came from above and I couldn't do anything to stop it other than swim as fast as I can, the ships were much faster than me. I swam but my brain stunned for a moment thinking about everything my father told me like how those tiny ships were called subs or my father said they were something like that.

Thinking of my family made me be able to think better now I had a moment to understand whats going on. The submarine was above me chasing from above me all I have to do is fine some sort of cave and make a swerve and hope they don't notice. I looked around me I saw no caves but I did see a kelp forests and I swam for it. My body was starting to hurt from the swimming and I needed to breathe.

My face flinched by the kelp that hit me in the face also causing air bubbles to escape my mouth. I realized the sub was off my ass and so I swam up for a breath of air. I gasped, air has never tasted better. I valued every second of it. Then it hit me, where is everyone? I turned and splashed around looking around me. Empty. ”fuck” I let myself slip out realizing I'm alone in the ocean.

My heart paced again but I controlled it reminding myself my father will show up. I took deep breaths and then I saw my father and the sea tribe all together. ”HEY!” I yelled swimming up to them, Aonung was already with them but all the others were gone. My mother grabbed me and swooped me up onto her Ikran, she reminded me of a mama bird she felt like home, something I didn't even knew I missed until now. I mean it's fun and all but it's just not the same. I felt tears filling my eyes but overcame them because I'm a man, I have no time for tears now, tears are for later after everyone is safe.
