Ch. 7 "A Shark.. Out Of Water??"

After the earthquake,

"Hey Peter, That's weird, isn't it? Or am I overreacting?" Josef asked.

"I don't know, but don't overthink about it; just focus." Peter replied.

"Okay.."

"Now stand up and let's continue," Peter said.

"remember? I can't stand up, idiot."

"Ah, okay, let me help you."

"Be careful; I think my leg is broken," Josef guessed.

Then after that, Josef stood leaning on Peter, and they walked slowly.

*Earthquake*

"Huh, again?" Josef said

"Just lean on me until it's done," Peter said.

After a while,

"WHAT THE-" Josef shouted.

"No way... no no no way, it can't be.." Peter shuddered.

"Why are they standing there like that?" Josef whined while shedding tears.

"It's a Hell...not a house..." Peter added.

"Mazen and Sami... They were missing... No, it's definitely not them... " Josef sobbed

Haroon and Sami, who were missing, couldn't be those hanging bodies...
When the earthquake happened, two hanging bodies just dropped from nowhere, surrounded by blood, with no eyes or stomachs... It was a terrible scene for Peter and Josef, and for us, me and you...

Peter covered Josef's crying eyes and walked beside them. He was trying to hold back his tears, but he couldn't, so he started crying, too.

"Be strong..... Josef... let's... get out of here." Peter wailed.

"Let's just die, I can't live without them! Firstly was Khalid, after that Seif, then Shadi and Haroon, and now Mazen and Sami, and the next we'll be us anyway!! So let's just die... I don't want to live anymore.. Life sucks without them! They were everything to me.. Now I don't have anyone... I'm tired.. Life is worthless without them...I... I can't live..." Josef broke down in tears.

Then Peter hugged Josef and said, "You still have me, Josef..  We still have each other... I know they were everything to you, and they weren't only your friends, but they were your family too.. But remember that God is always with you and that He compensates you for everyone.. Don't worry. Come on, let's get out of here. They would have wished that for us if they were here.. Come on, Josef, we are still young and have a lot to do.. Let's go"

Then Peter wiped his tears and those of Josef, then smiled in his face, took his arm, and walked slowly towards the door.

"Why is this door so far away?" Josef said.

"Come on now; don't give up. There's not much left," Peter said.

And after a few steps, they saw a shark fin... Huh? A.. Shark..Fin..?

"Hey Peter, Did you see what I saw?" Josef asked.
