Nightmare stands in front of Jessica who lies on the ground in front of him, desperately holding his ankle. They were about to leave her for dead but she stopped them. After speaking to her, he carelessly waves a hand at her and lifts his foot out of her weak weak grip. Her hand dropped in the cold snow. "I don't understand why you fight so hard to live for your friend." Jessica tries to reply but she coughs out a tiny bit of blood. She gasps for air.

"...?" Nightmare waves a hand carelessly and turns around to walk away. "Wait!!" She yells weakly from her place in the snow. "What do you mean?..." She asks and he stops. "Why wouldn't I fight?" She decides to try and stall them for as long as possible. Maybe it'll help you and the star Sanses?.. she hopes. The stale air carries pure silence other than her light coughs. Suddenly, Killer zooms towards her and pulls her head up using her hair as a sort of handle to do so. Then, Nightmare turns around. She's shaking vigorously at the sight of his expression. Other than Killer's lifeless eyes and wide smile, Nightmare almost seems to perfectly mirror Killers expression with his. His eyes are opened wide and he's smiling widely too, but the smile appears as though it's melting. "Keep her alive and throw her in a cage." He turns back around. "I am intrigued by this little human." And then he teleports away, taking a few of his comrades with him. "No wait!! Ah!-" She screams, but she's too late. "You heard the boss?" Says Killer, inching close to her face. "Cage it is."

You and Dream hear a familiar voice. "I see now brother." Highly Alarmed, you both turn and stand up from your previous position of leaning into each other. "D-Did you hear-" Dream's voice is cut off by a gasp. "I was approaching this girl-" Blue and Ink are confused as to why you are both so startled. "T h e   w r o n g   W a y ." Then his voice echoes from behind them. They both turn only to be met with the terrifying sight of Nightmare literally towering over the both of them with a melting expression of pure evil. A tentacle comes crashing down on the both of them as you two turn to see the sight of Nightmare. They both dodge and fly back in front of you two.

"I was being reckless when approaching a powerful human and her naive guards." He admitted. He doesn't shrink down to his original height, but he removed his tentacle from the ground to reveal a skeleton. The all too familiar, Dust, stands with his attacks at the ready. Your breath shakes as you prepare to dodge any unforseen attacks. Dream seems to prepare as well, blue's eye glows blue, and Ink puts his paint brush at the ready. "I didn't plan at all. Ha. So much for being strategic. But don't worry little one." Ink tried to keep a confident smile on his face, Blue looked alarmed and Dream seemed shaken as well. You put on a brave face at his words being addressed towards you but then something happened. Two sharp axes swiftly separated you from the other three. Your heart rate increased dramatically and your eyes widened. Everything was slow, you didn't even notice that a Gaster Blaster was powering itself up right in front of you. You stared into it's horrible eyes, as another skeleton from behind you leaned in close to your ear. "You can count on us to be much. More. C a r e f u l."

"NO!!!" You heard Dream yell and you turned to your left to see one of the axes being slashed and Dream lunging towards you. He swiftly scooped you up in his arms and dashed out of the way of the blast. You could barley process what had just happened. The first thing to break you out of your daze was the panic you felt radiating off of Dream's soul. You heard him panting and you looked up at him. His eyes were wide and the expression on his face. It was livid... Memories of his happy little smile flashed inside of your head. It was unlike anything you had seen from him before.
