((Btw from now on I'm gonna call (Y/N) by they/them pronouns. I'm prolly gonna edit some of the chapters to put they/them pronouns because I realize that's what I should've done in the first place. 🤣))

"M-Mommy?... Daddy?!" A little child wondered through the forest, hopelessly lost. They had wondered way too far away from her campgrounds, chasing a little squirrel who would just not stop bothering them. Unfortunately, they had gotten carried away in their quest to get revenge against the little rascal of a squirrel and they had now been sucked into the deep depths of these creepy woods.

"Moooom!!!" They yelled out in a panic. "Daddy!!! Please!!" They yelled as tears started to fall down their face and they started to sob. Then they jolted upwards at the sound of a familiar little squirrel squeaking at them on the ground. They let out a low growl and jumped for it but it quickly ran right out of the way and dodged them. They fell onto the ground. "You stupid thing!!" They yelled as they started to run after it but after quite a while of running they fell right into a ditch with a scream of terror.

They grabbed their arm and winced. "Owww....." After a few minutes of lying there, they pulled themself up only to see someone standing in front of them. They jumped and squealed in fear. "I-I'm sorry!" But then they noticed...... It was a stone statue... A statue of a skeleton monster. "I'm sorry Mr.Stone......." They apologized to the stone monster but then they took in it's appearance. "Whoa." They whispered to themself.

The statue was wearing a pretty swirly crown around its head and a cape with a sun shape on the back of it and a little star holding the cape around its neck. The clothes the stone statue wore looked like that of a prince's clothes and she observed that his belt said DS on it. "Are those your.... Inityals?" They said, trying to pronounce the word correctly. They stood up and stared into the statue's face.

They felt a wave of sadness come over them as they noticed the expression on his face. It was a look of sadness, betrayal and confused shock. Emotions they would come to feel in only a few years. "Are you sad that you lost your family too?...." They asked sadly. The statue didn't respond. "I get it... I lost my parents and I can't find them... Can I stay here with you until they come find me...?" The statue didn't respond. "Okay!" They said.

The little child looked down at his hand which he held towards his heart. Then they looked down at his other hand which was held weakly at his side. "You're a really pretty monster!" They smiled up at the statue and held onto his hand. "Why are you in the middle of the woods?..." They asked the statue monster....... No response. "It's okay! I don't really care if you're lost just like me. I don't like to.... Judge!" They said, trying to remember the correct word. They sat down in front of the statue and curled up, using it as support....

"(Y/N)!!" Yelled a woman's voice. "(Y/N) where's our little devil gone?!)) Yelled a male voice. The little ones eyes started to slowly open and they perked up to hear they're parents voices. "Momma!? Daddy?!" She said as she stood up. Two adult figures started to run towards the little child. The mother gasped loudly. "Ohhh honey!!" She ran over to the child. They stood up and ran to their Momma. The two of them hugged tightly and the father quickly joined in the hug.

The hug broke after a long while. "Where did you go devil?!" Asked the Dad in concern. "I was chasing a little aminal because he wouldn't stop bothering me!!" She pouted. The mother started to laugh and she hugged her child once again. "Don't ever do that again honey.." She said softly through her giggles. The father got up and started to walk towards the statue. "Honey." He said. "Come take a look at this." The mother picked up her child and started to walk towards the statue. "Whoa.. what's that doing in here?" She said.

"Oh! That's Mr.Stone! He helped me sleep!" Said the little one. The father stared at the statue for a long moment before he got a chill up his spine. "Uhh... Yeah that's creepy let's get outta here." He said as he started to back away from the statue hesitantly. "He's not creepy Daddy! I think he's super cute!" Yelled the child as they wriggled out of their mother's arms to run up to the statue. "Don't worry about Dad, he doesn't like statues but that's okay!"

The mother smiled down at her child and giggled. "Okay okay." She said as she walked towards her child and put her hand on their shoulder. "It's time to say goodbye to Mr.Stone." She said. The little child hugged the statue of the monster real quick and then they turned towards their Mother. "Okay! I'm ready!" With that the family left the statue and went back to their far away camp grounds.

The statues face and hands started to crack a little bit. Little did the family know. All he needed, was just a little bit of positivity to finally break free and search for his brother...
