*2012 Val d'Argenton. *
Well that was stupid Max thought to himself. He was soaked and even worse that Leclerc guy had gotten away with it.
It had been a simple race but then Max and Charles had crashed. Unfortunately neither of them could accept that so they of course hit each other after the flag causing Max to aquaplane into a puddle and throwing water all over him.
But that was racing it happened or at least that's what Max told himself. His dad might not be as calm tho.
As he was walking back to the paddock a reporter stuck a microphone in his face asking questions about the incident with Charles. Max ignored his instinct to push him away and answered as democratically as he could giving the usual "he hit me, I hit him back ".
*Charles pov*
Charles on the other hand was not happy at all. That stupid Dutch kid with his arrogance had hit him. Still when asked he simply responded saying it was "nothing just an inchident"
*Max pov*
"Yes dad I know but come on I think I should still talk to him about it. Even if he is a stuck up monagasque" "Fine " muttered Jos.
Max didn't really know why he wanted to talk to Charles, he usually wouldn't care but this time was different for some reason.
"Hey mate I just wanted to apologize about today, Both of us were at fault really"
"Ok Verstappen I don't care but still, I'll see you next race "
Max reached out his hand and Charles shook it. Max suddenly felt warm and sort of fuzzy inside "Charles I-I um bye mate" Max didn't know what had just happened but he put it down to post race adrenaline.
Anyway he thought it best not to tell his dad and anyway who cares about that now, he had to go pack up quickly as his girlfriend was waiting for him in the van him and his dad travelled in
*Charles pov*
Charles wondered what sort of game Max was playing. He had just shook his hand and suddenly the blonde haired boy had started acting weird and had practically ran off. "Oh well" said Charles out loud. He along with many others who regularly raced Max had seen Jos's behavior so he guessed Max had been in a rush to get back to Jos
